The hotel is architecturally stunning. It’s felt like an extremely exclusive venue, but at a reasonably price. The breakfast was phenomenal, in a beautiful room, with attentive staff and the views matched it. Lastly, we were amazed to discover a small farm which helps supply the hotel, the baby goats were extremely cute and I tried to draw no relation in my mind to the slow cooked leg we had the night before! Brilliant experience

It was very clean, modern, with all the facilities that you need. Downstairs it was this lovely coffee shop where you can have a nice breakfast if you want but also they offer an amazing daily menu with only 9.50 euro. You can easily walk to the center of Marco de Canaveses where you can find a lot of restaurants with local food. It takes about 15 minutes. We took the Uber with 5 euro to the train station and from there you can easily visit Porto and the Duoro Valley.

Our stay was amazing! We felt that every detail was invested at the best possible level, we really enjoyed the silence and the space that the place has to offer. We strongly recommend taking a picnic basket, it's worth it!
