The guesthouse really lives up to its name - stressfree :) The room was beautifully designed and had everything one needs for a short stay, including nice touches like a beach bag with a towel. The host was very responsive, checking regularly if I need anything. Will definitely come back!

Very welcoming, friendly and overwhelming experience. Quinta is having stylish interior with antique design, furniture pieces. All within the quinta is contructed with sustainable approach and modern recycling solutions, which is really impressive. Next to it there are nice pathways to the beach, shore, dunes and along coast which lead through the pinus sylvestris - pine forrest. We arrived late and Vitor advised us a very nice traditional restaurant with typical for this region and time of the year dishes and drinks. Very tasty breakfast with home made jams, cake, portuguese coffee and scrambled eggs from his chickens. What is Vitor is wonderful host, very knowledable and open minded, kind and welcoming. We loved that quinta is filled with many animals. Fully recommended.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available. The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.

We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

My 2. time at this outstanding guesthouse, it is the best ! If you are looking for a sray in Odeceixe with your private room and bathroom, look no further. It is very clean, the bathroom is very modern and larger than average (like in a 4 star hotel). They now have a fridge in the room, the only thing I missed last time, this makes them 11 out of 10 ! More than all : This house has a soul. No self-check in.. You are met by a wonderful lady who will give you recommendations and show you your room. Thank you for hosting me again !

Hostel Seixe did not disappoint. It was very clean, homey, and kitted out with anything you could need if travelling or backpacking. Seixe is certainly the cleanest hostel I think I've ever stayed in anywhere. Odeceixe is a nice, small town, ideal for stopping over during a trip up or down the coast or to explore the Fisherman's Trail. The hostel is well located in the centre of town and walking distance to all amenities. Nadine and Matthias make every effort to make their guests welcome and comfortable. Thank you both!

Very good location, good breakfast with different choices, it was clean and well kept and staff very friendly and helpful. My room also had a balcony and fridge. The village was also nice and everything available (supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy etc). Shuttle bus to the beach was also a good thing.

Nice stay in Odeceixe, good value for money, very central location! Easy to get the beach from here by car, if not the bus/train also stops close by. You can also walk for 3km to the beach if that's your thing. It's close to one of my favorite all time beaches.
