Hello everyone. You don't have to wonder if this is a good decision. Nélia is a wonderful hostess of this place, and the place to stay is a secondary matter. The house has everything you need. Heating too. For breakfast, Nélia prepared a lot of products for us, which we really stuffed ourselves with, and in the morning she left us fresh bread with which we could taste the delicacies from the fridge. There are two bikes at your disposal and a piece of the garden with a grill, which unfortunately we did not use because we visited this place in December and only for one night. We highly recommend this cozy place! We would gladly visit it again! Greetings to Nélia =)

It was a long hot walk at the end of a hiking day on the Fisherman's Trail (we could have taken a taxi) but so glad we had booked here. Loved our room - and the thoughtful decanter of port. The pool is gorgeous as are the grounds. Breakfast was one of the top two on our two week Portugal trip. Would highly recommend.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available. The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.

We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Are you looking for a peaceful and relaxing place? Don't search more, you found the best place to be. Waking up and going directly to the pool, right before breakfast. Enjoy the first meal of the day in the facilities to have a great morning! After a full day at one of the beaches nearby, relax by the pool and after, you can go for dinner in one of the villages close by. The room we stayed in had everything that we needed and the staff was always there for us if we needed anything. We'll come back, for sure :)

A suberb place to stay at Odeceixe. Breakfast is incredible, the whole area is great and super quiet. Staff is very kind and nice. Very tastefully decorated and clean. Wonderful pool. Robes were very confortable and complimentary beach towels are provided. The location is lovely, in a nice rural area near to the fabulous Odeceixe beach, the main village and several restaurants. Totally relaxing and welcoming!

Perfect accommodation, top location, great people, great facility - price/performance ratio should be a 12. 5 Minutes by car to different bars and restaurants, 10 minutes to the beach. We had a wonderful stay at Vida Pura. Strong recommendation for everybody. Warm regards to Bela and Robin.
