Really great place to unwind after six days hiking down the Alentejo coast : having a deep tub bath under the chandelier was so nice. Odeceixe is a lovely little town, you can hear the birds and the church bell and there are some good cafés and restaurants nearby (you are not directly on the square, just around the corner from it) and the beach is amazing.

Nelia was lovely, kind and polite. The room was perfect with everything you could need. Thoughtful little touches everywhere. She gave recommendations of places to eat and things to see. There were even bicycles to use so in the morning I went exploring off-road along the canals. She left me some homemade pumpkin preserve which was delicious. I stayed just one night but a great place to stay longer. At night you can hear the frogs and in the morning the birds. She has a big patio with a BBQ to use also.

Everything was perfect. Starting from the check-in, André gave us many useful tips. The garden is like a little paradise, full of flowers and birds singing and the staff takes a great care of it. The breakfast is amazing. And on top of that you are very close to Aljezur and Odeceixe, the beaches and even the sierre so it is perfect to explore the region.

Very welcoming, friendly and overwhelming experience. Quinta is having stylish interior with antique design, furniture pieces. All within the quinta is contructed with sustainable approach and modern recycling solutions, which is really impressive. Next to it there are nice pathways to the beach, shore, dunes and along coast which lead through the pinus sylvestris - pine forrest. We arrived late and Vitor advised us a very nice traditional restaurant with typical for this region and time of the year dishes and drinks. Very tasty breakfast with home made jams, cake, portuguese coffee and scrambled eggs from his chickens. What is Vitor is wonderful host, very knowledable and open minded, kind and welcoming. We loved that quinta is filled with many animals. Fully recommended.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available. The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.

We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Very interesting expierence. The host is very special man, having answers to different questions, gaving good recommendations about travelling Rota Vincentina. Very tasty breakfast in the yard surrounded by pets. From the house a 15 minutes trail takes you to the ocean. It's a good place to stay when splitting the Fisherman's road section from Odeceixe (with half a day staying at Odeceixe beach) and Aljezur in two days.

Best hotel in Portugal! We had the garden villa and another bed room. The furniture, the pool, everything was so great and made with love. We had the pool almost always for our own. It was super peaceful. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was fantastic! They had pancakes, eggs in every variation u like, cakes, fruits,...The laundry service was super good. We will come back! =) Thank u for everything!

This was the best accommodation we had during our trip in Portugal. We loved the place. Its location is unique, and together with the overall atmosphere makes it a perfect place to stay. The staff is incredibly nice, we felt really welcomed. We also had a delicious dinner (fresh grilled fish) and amazing desserts in the restaurant there. If you can´t decide, have the mango mousse, it´s SO yummy!

Perfect accommodation, top location, great people, great facility - price/performance ratio should be a 12. 5 Minutes by car to different bars and restaurants, 10 minutes to the beach. We had a wonderful stay at Vida Pura. Strong recommendation for everybody. Warm regards to Bela and Robin.
