Everything! Lovely 200 year old house that was beautifully renovated; friendly staff - Diana welcomed us, was so proud to show us around and served us coffee a d tea with cake on arrival; lovely breakfast and very clean rooms. Safe secured parking.

Writing a review for this place makes one soon run out of superlatives. Everything nice people say in the reviews is an understatement. First of all, Alice is super attentive, helpful, and responsive. The home is spotless, better equipped than my own home, nicely decorated, with vitrage lamp shades and historical items adorning the walls. The first place in Portugal where they had a Moka cafetera, the first good coffee in a month! The washing machine, the additional heating in bathroom. The location is beautiful, a small eerie village, where you meet more cats than neighbours. On the fringe of Montesinho national park, it is a great starting point to explore the little villages as well as the landscapes.

Featuring a garden and views of pool, A Lagosta Perdida is a country house situated in a historic building in Montezinho, 23 km from Braganca Castle.

This was a really special find in an amazing location. Exceptionally restored old stone house that clearly alot of love has been poured into. Everything was amazing from the facilities to the delicious home cooked food to the wonderful hosting by Robert. Our 3 year old loved playing with the train set and picking grapes fresh from the vines. A really special place. Thank you so much!

We had a great time! The house is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped. We especially loved the fireplace. The location is stunning and very peaceful. Our host was very helpful and stayed in touch the whole time. It’s the perfect spot to escape the city for a bit. Highly recommended!
