Where to start...? This is an amazing place to stay for whoever wants to enjoy the peace of the countryside, Casa Barriada II is located in a small village surrounded by nature with easy access to the city of Bragança and close to other villages. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the decoration was amazing in a blend of rustic furniture meets modern appliances that worked really well! Everything looked brand new and very clean and it really made our stay one of the most fantastic stay I've ever had! We even had some cats making us company when outside! I'm definitely coming back whenever I have the chance! The host Alice kept communicating with me until we settled in making sure we had everything we needed. We received the code for the lock box prior to our arrival and everything went smoothly. Top notch house and if you want to explore the lovely Tras-Os-Montes and the Natural Park of Montesinho, I definitely recommend house of Barriada!

This is a very special place, like none I've ever stayed in across 20+ years of travel throughout southern Europe! The guesthouse is in a splendid traditional village house restored with incredible care and attention to detail. We love to stay at this property. House is big and comfortable. We were received by the owners who are very friendly. They offered us home made jam, beer, drinks. Kitchen is complete and you don’t need to worry with small things as salt, oil and many other things were available. We felt completely at home. We also travelled with our cat, who also felt very relaxed in the house.
