I loved my stay at Artcore Hotel. It's very new and the facilities are fantastic — the rooms are very big, they have balconies, and I love how they're decorated with artistic and creative flair. I noticed that the bedding and the slippers were made in Portugal which was great. The spa facilities were also nice. I was a fan of the breakfast service, where they deliver breakfast to your door if you request it with a sign on your handle. The breakfast selection was vast and the acai bowl was a favorite. I also ordered dry cleaning for my pants and it arrived back to me, clean and dried, within hours!

We stayed for three days. I came with my wife and child. I can say that the accommodations, guest relations, room cleaning, parking, and breakfast services were top-notch. Guest relations is always helpful. Those in the breakfast section made sure we had a great time at breakfast. The location is close to the center and everything else. The indoor pool and gym facilities are also excellent. Perfect in every way. Obrigado!

This property was small but rooms are very spacious. We were pleasantly surprised when our room was upgraded because we were celebrating a birthday. Our room was very spacious, modern and clean. It is good value for money for sure. Very attentive employees, they made our stay very very special. They made sure we had everything we needed. And the everyday housekeeping was a bonus. The sunsets from our balcony was soo beautiful. And we slept amazing on these huge beds. For us girlies, it made us happy that the mirrors were big too.

This was our second visit.

This was our second visit. The apartments are almost new, spacious, comfortable and clean. We love the view of the pool area and the Castle hotel. The pool area has been improved with the addition of planting, making it an oasis of greenery. As it is a small block i The pool area doesn’t get A small cafe/brunch bar/bakery has opened to the front of the hotel. Great food. We had lunch there one day and on another day had a meal delivered to the room. Has great selection of cakes, pastries and breads. Customer service is outstanding.

Porto is still one of my favourite cities in Portugal.

Porto is still one of my favourite cities in Portugal. Its historic streets, the Douro River, and the unique atmosphere make it a wonderful place to visit. At the same time, the city is changing rapidly. Like Lisbon, it is facing increasing tourism and a housing crisis, and many local residents are gradually being pushed out of the city, although less dramatically than in Lisbon. Construction is taking place almost everywhere, especially on the Vila Nova de Gaia side, where even parts of the riverside promenade have become a building site. I only hope that Porto will be able to preserve the authenticity that makes it so special.

Porto is a great walking city if you don't mind a few hills...

Porto is a great walking city if you don't mind a few hills here and there and be mindful of the slippery cobbled streets. Good public transport and lots of possibilities for trips out for the day, if the city centre gets too busy and hot. Lots of fantastic food options everywhere and a trip to some of the winerys will not disappoint, especially if you enjoy lunch there too. A long stroll along the Douro river and you can explore the fishing villages and vibrant culture of this beautiful part of Portugal. For those who enjoy listening to Fado , there are a number of Fado houses and it is wonderful that this unique form of music remains part of the beating heart of the city.

Absolutely beautiful city and surrounding areas.

Absolutely beautiful city and surrounding areas. Also spent 1 week in Cascais——-beautiful beaches and restaurants . Most importantly, lovely people!!! A tour to the Douro Valley is a must if you have time Pictures below

The time out market which has some great food choices next...

The time out market which has some great food choices next to the station is much better than lisbon. Bolhao market is also great for Portuguese gifts and souvenirs but also food as well as food stalls and wine. The top of the city - around Rua de Cedofeita is up and coming and worth a look

The history of Porto was great. The tours were good. The extreme heat advisory kept us from going on hiking trails. The Duro River wine tour was very good. All in all, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is safe. The city is clean and busy.

The hotel is pretty nice and at a very nice location on a pedestrian-only street. The room was of a good size and nicely decorated. As with many hotels in Portugal, there is not enough space for clotes but that was maybe the only semi-negative thing (again, that situation sems to be very common at the price range). Personel at the reception were extremely nice and very helpful, that was denfinitely outstanding. Even though it's on a very popular street the hotel is very quiet at night. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

Wow! This apartment was even better in reality. It’s central. During the night you will have a beautiful view on the shining camara municipal of Porto, which is one of the most beautiful buildings in the entire city. the breakfast was rich, 100% punctual and had more than we could wish for. The apartment was clean, the AC worked perfectly fine. Overall it was our best experience in Portugal! Huge compliment to the owner. This is Service! 10/10 recommend. We‘d come back any time.
