What a nice experience! Such a beautiful place in a beautiful town and area. And the owner is fantastic! So helpful! We came very late (22:30) and very hungry. The owner took us in his car to a local restaurant and organised food and nice local vine for us. Hopefully we will have another chance to visit that place!

This was a really comfortable stay. The house is very modern and beautiful, even has central heating. The bed was very comfortable. When we were there, the village was peaceful. The breakfast was like at grandma's house, abundant and delicious. If you have a car, you can explore the Miranda region from here, to us it was worth driving a little more to stay in this beautiful house. Be mindful that there are not a lot of eating options nearby, but you can also cook for yourself in the shared kitchen that is just as great as the rest of the house.

With the Santa Barbara festivities, the buses are diverted from their usual stops, but nobody has any information about it, not even the GNR (National Republican Guard), and if it weren't for an old man from a shop warning me, I would have missed the bus.

Sendim is a traditional village in the Trás-os-Montes region...

Sendim is a traditional village in the Trás-os-Montes region. It was here that the traditional dish "posta transmontana" originated, now widespread throughout the province. It is one of the centers for the dissemination of the Mirandese language. Road access is now facilitated by the IC-5 highway; it lies between Miranda do Douro and Mogadouro and is connected to Spain by the Bemposta and Miranda dams. Several of the viewpoints overlooking the Douro International are located nearby.

It's a large village with all the necessary amenities, close...

It's a large village with all the necessary amenities, close to Miranda do Douro but without the hustle and bustle. Near natural parks, it has a couple of restaurants where the food is quite good and the locals are very friendly. It invites you to wander through its narrow streets and discover its charming corners.

The small complex was very tastefully designed - the garden areas and the villas. Very quiet location with a secure electric gate at the entrance. Only a few minutes drive to Sendim. Outdoor pool area with sun loungers. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Really nice to have air conditioning units in both rooms. Ensuite bathroom very modern.

The staff is very helpful and nice. The hotel is in the middle of Sendim, next to a gas station and have plenty space for parking. The hotel has very good heating system, very important in winter.
