The restaurant at this hotel served excellent meals. I Had relaxing evenings in their lovely garden at back of property. Room was quiet and spacious with a modern bathroom & fresh towels.

What a nice experience! Such a beautiful place in a beautiful town and area. And the owner is fantastic! So helpful! We came very late (22:30) and very hungry. The owner took us in his car to a local restaurant and organised food and nice local vine for us. Hopefully we will have another chance to visit that place!

In a quiet settlement, an old house that has been very carefully renovated. Clean, fully equipped kitchen. The hostess is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very plentiful, fresh warm bread every morning. Nearby is a fantastic vantage point for the valley of the Douro River.

The property is on a small farm with donkeys, a rooster and dogs. Only 3mims off the N221. Each morning, Gloria (the owner) brought breakfast in a basket with fresh picked fruit and berries from the garden, bread, yoghurt, juice, coffee, milk, and charcuterie. The pool, like our rooms was immaculately clean and towels were provided. Comfortable bed and good shower. Gloria made our stay extra special.
