The location of Imperio do Norte is unbeatable, right in the centre in front of the river and the pedestrian walk lined by centenary poplar trees. The hotel is solid, with wide corridors and clean, lean, and functional rooms. My room was very comfortable, with a nice bathroom, a desk, a fridge and a nice balcony. The breakfast was varied and excellent. The staff were efficient, professional and very helpful. Looking forward to staying here again.

This hotel is 200 metres from Ponte de Nossa Senhora Da Guia and Lima River. It features a small spa area with massage services and a lush garden. Each room has a private balcony.

We had an amazing stay here! The room was absolutely spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day of walking. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to town but tucked away on a quiet side street so we slept great. The breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely stay here again!"

Spotless, comfortable rooms (2) that were well proportioned and very well-equipped. Breakfast (incld) was varied and plentiful and our host attentive. Location 10 minutes from bus station and walking distance to town was perfect for us. It was also lovely to have a communal sitting area with TV and games and a spacious kitchen to make hot drinks. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and happily let us keep our bags on site while we enjoyed the town before our return bus. We would very happily go back if visiting the beautiful Ponte de Lima again in the future.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, featuring stylish, well-appointed furniture that created a cosy and serene atmosphere throughout my stay. The bathrooms had been recently renovated, adding to the comfort, and the host, Isabel, ensured my room was tidied and maintained daily. The experience felt like a homestay, with Isabel offering valuable advice on how to fully enjoy the beauty of the town. The location is also ideal, just a short walk from the town centre. I would definitely return, as the stay was excellent value for money.

The host met us in person at the property. We arrived about 1 hour later than expected. Obviously, the host (a friendly lady) has been waiting for us patiently. The property is clean and comfortable.

The setting was serene and very beautiful. Our hosts were accommodating and very friendly. We arrived after a very wet day on the Camino and appreciated the warm wood fire to dry off by and to dry our shoes. The accommodation was a short deviation off the Camino track and Isobel dropped us back to the track the following morning.
