The location of Imperio do Norte is unbeatable, right in the centre in front of the river and the pedestrian walk lined by centenary poplar trees. The hotel is solid, with wide corridors and clean, lean, and functional rooms. My room was very comfortable, with a nice bathroom, a desk, a fridge and a nice balcony. The breakfast was varied and excellent. The staff were efficient, professional and very helpful. Looking forward to staying here again.

We had an excellent stay. A lovely friendly host and easy check in. The room was clean with comfortable beds. It had a powerful shower. The pool and kitchen area was superb. They have a super friendly cat. I highly recommend this place.

Helena is the perfect host. From the moment you arrive, she wants you to be comfortable and feel at home. Her home is beautiful. Modern, luxurious and spotless. The room came with a complimentary basket of cakes, chocolate, tea, coffee and water. The bed was very comfortable with white sheets. A very large breakfast is provided at a very reasonable extra price. Helen's scrambled eggs are delicious. I was walking the Camino and she had my clothes whipped away and washed and dried for me.

One of the best places I stayed at during my camino, and perfectly located right on the camino trail. The owners Gisa and Fred were the perfect hosts and treated me more like a friend than a mere guest passing by. The quinta was so cozy and lovely, with meaningful themed decorations. My room was huge, clean, and very comfortable, and the glass doors let in the sunlight. The bathroom was modern and water pressure was perfect, with hot water available. I was welcomed after a sweaty day of walking with a cold beer and chips, and was able to prop my feet up and feel the nice wind outside. Dinner was a delicious vegan gourmet spread prepared by Gisa herself -- everything tasted so good! After a quiet night and good sleep, I was treated once again to a delicious breakfast spread prepared by Gisa. My stay felt more like a vacation than a camino stop, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Plus the cost of my stay was so affordable and I got so much more than what I paid for. Thank you, Gisa and Fred, for welcoming me into your lovely B&B!
