The house we stayed at was a lot bigger and prettier than expected. The landscape all-around is wonderful and an easy 5-min hike can offer you a panoramic view. The restaurant's yard is also really cozy and peaceful.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Septimia and her husband Sorin, the manager of Pensiunea Zikeli. Despite our visit coinciding with Orthodox Easter weekend, the hosts were attentive and ensured our stay was their top priority. Undoubtedly, the customer service we experienced at this accommodation was among the best we have encountered throughout our travels. The food served was simple yet delicious, and the local wine was exceptional. It is located on the main road through Viisoara, which makes it convenient for travelling around the area. I have stayed in many properties in Romania, but this one was by far the cleanest. I was really impressed with the level of cleanliness, especially since I am hard to please. The family room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Although, selfishly, I would prefer if fewer people came by, I understand that it is a business, and without more customers, they may not survive. Other places could learn a lot from Residenz Zikeli about how to address customer service. Perhaps Domeniul Dracula Daneș could take an example from them. Overall, we had a great stay and would like to thank Residenz Zikeli for their hospitality!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming country house ! It was the perfect getaway for our family, including our little one who was playing till late at night with the two kids of the couple . From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the host , who was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, and his sense of humor added such a fun touch to our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the PIZZERIA in the garden the cold drinks and delicious ice cream ! It was such a unique experience to enjoy delicious, freshly made pizzas right on the property. The ingredient were fresh and in high quality. Our child loved running around the garden while we relaxed and savored the wonderful food . The house itself was cozy, clean, with a comfortable bed and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The peaceful country setting provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We truly appreciated the host's helpfulness and attentiveness, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. We visited the cute village, nearby forests , saw wild deer on our bike adventure and buffalos . Marius has ATVs for rent and the price is low compared to many other similar services in the country. We left feeling refreshed , happy and with wonderful memories. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a family-friendly or couple retreat with a personal touch. We can’t wait to come back .

Staff were great, we got separate beds room. Location in the city is great, central, private parking. Pretty clean room, maybe not the newest furniture, but in good shape,air conditioning, fridge etc. Great value for the money

We really recommend the hotel. We had spacious, clean, cosy rooms. It is situated right in the heart of the town, but very calm and silent and a 15 minutes walk from the station, where the international trains arrive (we recommend travelling there by train). The breakfast was very good. And the price very very agreeable. The friendly man at the reception was the first one we met during our journey, who spoke fluent English, so you could ask him everything. The check in is possible earlier than usual in hotels (at 2 pm) and we could leave our luggage there for the whole day until the night train to Vienna left. We slept very well there, maybe because of godd mattresses or whyever. So altogether, this is a very good choice, if you want to visit Medias.

Quite a big hotel but offseason so very quiet. They stood my bike safely with the left luggage. Dinner was absolutely fantastic and at a reasonable price.
