We had a lovely stay at Bo i Bodafors, located in a charming yellow house that feels like it holds a lot of history. There was a parking spot conveniently located right outside the front door, which made arrival and departure very easy. The room was small but cozy, with a double bed, a little bedside table, and a desk with a chair. The duvet was fresh and the mattress was very comfortable — we slept really well. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, which included a kettle, microwave, and fridge. The bathroom was clean and had a strong, refreshing shower. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast, served in a beautiful and very cozy café just down the road. Each of us received a generous plate with ham, salami, two types of cheese, butter, a boiled egg, and two rolls of freshly baked bread. It was accompanied by a bowl of vanilla yogurt topped with berries, an orange juice carton, and a cup of filtered coffee. Everything was tasty, especially the breads. We also picked up some pastries to take with us — the cinnamon bun was exceptional, quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended! The only downside was that the accommodation’s walls and doors were quite thin and not well soundproofed. Fortunately, we were the only guests during our stay, so it wasn’t an issue — but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a charming and restful stop with an outstanding breakfast experience.

Nice hotel in the very beautiful and peaceful place. It has a sauna close to the beach - which is a very comfortable if the lake is a bit cold. Breakfast is very good and restaurant has a beautiful terrace with a wonderful view. It is possible to have dinner at the hotel. menu is not big, but it was really tasty. Hotel is dog friendly you just have to pay 300 SEK per night.

The hotel was partly in renovation when we visited but none the less quite comfy and welcoming. The people running it were some of the nicest people I've ever met. Ready to help out with every wish even if it wasn't really hotel related. Just very committed to having a good place for travelers. The cook (owner/manager) prepared us a vegan meal out of what he had available, with self picked cantarelles from the surrounding forest and it was one of the best vegan dishes we've eaten in a long time. the breakfast/lunch box that had been prepared for us the next day was decorated with lovely humorous personal text and overall we felt very comfortable and at ease there. Any time again if we're in the neighborhood.

Hotell Högland is next to Nässjö Central Station. It offers free WiFi. I also offers a wellness centre and free private parking, both subjects for availability.

Amazing location in a tiny hamlet in the centre of Sweden. A wooden lodge with a large, comfortable bed, and vintage equipment (vinyl disc player, lights, coffee machine). But the experience became truly original as we discussed with our host, who introduced us to the history of the place. Although it is completely invisible and inaudible from our lodge, the large house nearby hosts... a hydroelectric plant. It used to be a watermill in the late XIXth century, and started producing electricity in 1910. If you ever stay there, ask the host to show you the place!

So nice and peaceful. We regretted that we only booked one night and cannot fully enjoy the surroundings. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. Highly recommend!
