The staff was very kind, even charming. And so was the Hotel, everything looked warm, smelled nice and had a character to it that made me want to commit a crime so i could stay in this "prison" a bit longer 😄

We have stayed at Strandpiren many times, but this was the first time the hotel restaurant was open in the evening. The food was excellent. I had the best mussels in wine I have ever had, and my husband had a great fish dish.

The location was great - right down town and just down the street from the Halsingland Museum. The iconic red houses along the harbor were right next door. It is a historic site and had a fabulous breakfast and very nice restaurant.

I asked if i could use their facilities after my checkout for a jobb meeting and the staff said that i could of course use the lounge area. It was quiet and perfect Internet connection. Very happy that they were so accommodating.

The location is lovely, close to both the beach and some nice trails. The staff were willing to speak English and were super patient and helpful with me. The kayak I rented for a day was well maintained and clean, as were the rest of the facilities.

    The harbour and surroundings are very scenic.

    The harbour and surroundings are very scenic. The town is quite quiet and there a lots of restaurants & cafes to eat at. The area is undergoing a huge investment with waterside appartments. Many of the old fishing related properties are being repurposed. Good local shopping opportunities. If you are a sailor and like the water there is plenty to occupy you.

    Walking into the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome—literally. The bathroom floors were heated, which was a small but amazing detail, especially after a long day out and so much snow outside. The staff were always around, ready to help without feeling intrusive. And after that, sinking into a super comfy bed with a great view was the perfect way to end the day. Would definitely go back!
