Breakfast was delicious - a buffet with all kinds of extra goodies including traditional Swedish sweets, fresh juice, home-baked breads of two kinds and Swedish crackers. Coffee was strong and plentiful. In addition, the bed was the best of any hotels - as good (better?) than my bed at home. Lydde Gard has had the beds specially made and it is clear by a great night's sleep. There are details everywhere that are thoughtful from the pot of ferns on top of a fiction book on the dining table to the design of room accessories. The room was beautiful and quiet and there was a balcony to sit outside and listen to the rain and a garden for sitting after the rain stopped.
