This is an absolutely stunning hotel in the very center of town. The quality of everything, from the service to the room amenities, was at the very highest level. The spa was spectacular! The parking was super convenient. Truly one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.

Everything was great. Though we prefer the more spacious, deluxe rooms, even the standard, value oriented room was fine for us. The A/C definitely helps in the summer time, especially in the attic. We loved the facility overall. The whole site is well kept. The swimming pool and spa is a very nice bonus for the price. The sauna only operates in the afternoon, though. Breakfast was included and we were well fed. :) We even used the restaurant a couple of times and no matter what we picked from the a la cart menu, everything was excellent. Unless you have a very, very good reason to stay directly in Banska Stiavnica, stay here instead. You'll thank me afterwards. :)

This property is so unique and absolutely charming!! The hospitality of the staff was superb! We felt like kings and queens as we stayed in this beautiful hotel, with the most amazing chef and gazed out the window at the Old Church which was a medieval castle from the 1400’s. They even have a mine shaft from when gold and silver were mined there, now it’s a wine cellar and more! I can’t say enough positive things about this establishment, except go there!!! You won’t regret a moment spent in the beautiful, quaint, history-rich, kind town of Banska Stiavnica.
