If you’re aiming Doi Ithan definitely you should spend a night or maybe 3 :) I would definitely recommend you to reserve full package including dinner, so you can experience Karen cooking and dining. The host is fluent in English, and in a moment you become a part of the family. They have several animals and plants which you can visit. The rooms are clean, they are made of bamboos so naturally there can be dust from the wood but i must say its one of the CLEANEST stays in Thailand. The decoration of the rooms, the energy of this lovely family, friendliness of Nukul all these make this experience unforgettable. Looking to visit this place again and again. Ps: they have wifi so basically you can go there, boom full package and concentrate on your work.

The staff is amazing! Also, the food in the restaurant is incredible! Best mango sticky rice from our entire trip! The view of the jungle from the rooms and the elephants passing by is unbelievable!

As soon as I arrived at the homestay, I felt immediately at ease. The owners are incredibly kind, smiling, and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this homestay! The only small detail to consider is that the location is a bit far from the city center. Ideally, it's best to have a scooter or a car.

The owners of Grey House are lovely people. They gave me my space, and also did things to make me feel like a part of their family. They took me grocery shopping with them, introduced me to local markets and temples, and assisted me with securing rides into town for business. The house is kept very clean with a simple elegance, and is in a quiet peaceful environment. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. I had lots of private time to myself, yet felt looked after. I was invited to pick vegetables, herbs and berries from their garden, and even participated in the families Loy Krathong festivities. Breakfast often included produce right from their gardens. I prepared dinner for myself most nights in the traditional Thai kitchen. The place is beautiful and secluded with so many interesting things to see right on the property. I really enjoyed my time there, and would return. Thank you Nas, Jaep, Namo, Mother, and Father🙏
