I love this hotel so much, just everything is so perfect! Very clean, very bright, big space, private parking, next to the laundry shop, big C, 7-11, and local market. I would give it 11 out of 10 if possible.

I stayed in a bright, spacious corner suite with lots of windows and plenty of natural light, which made the room feel especially comfortable. The room was very clean, everything worked perfectly, and I really appreciated the smart system for controlling the lights and air conditioning. It was also great that the air conditioning was not blowing directly onto the bed or my head, and it was very easy to adjust. The staff were incredibly caring and helpful throughout my stay. They were always quick to answer my questions and assist with anything I needed, even in the evening when I was unsure where to park my car — they replied promptly, gave me clear recommendations, and even sent me a parking map. Such thoughtful and wonderful people. Thank you very much.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly soft and cozy, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided outstanding service throughout my stay. I loved this place, it’s towards the back of the island which I loved as it’s very jungly and because the island is small, you’re not far from the beach so have the best of both worlds, it looks brand new, I stayed in the bamboo hut with a fan, great size, super clean and despite the location, there wasn’t any bugs, I ended up sleeping without the mosquito net and was fine, the staff are so lovely, they rent mopeds for 250 baht a day, there is a great restaurant next door with amazing food, you do get power cuts but that’s across the whole island due to it being fairly remote and underdeveloped but that all adds to the charm, if you’re looking to experience a less touristy, more traditional part of Thailand, this is the place.

Ko Mook is a quiet island with not that much to do.

Ko Mook is a quiet island with not that much to do. Book a trip to the Emerald Cave with snorkelling stops, including a couple of hours on Ko Kradan, spend a few hours on Charlie Beach (Sunset Beach), and lounge around in the various restaurants and bars, but 3 or 4 nights should be enough...

I know Trang from my early days, some 34 years ago when I lived here... There are just a few parts of Thailand that can match the diversity and lush green surroundings - one would be Khao Lak. Trang has many limestone caves, temples and an abundance of waterfalls and islands to explore. I still love this place very much today, after such a long time and keep coming back with my family. If you want to explore Thailand unspoilt and like in the good old days, away from the crowds, Trang is the perfect choice for you!

there are a number of attractions here including hot springs...

there are a number of attractions here including hot springs, which we enjoyed -- the restaurants seemed varied and of good quality, although the food was so good at our resort, we did not dine in town very much.

Trang is a great place to get a taste for a real Thai city, especially before or after a stay out at the islands. After our trip out to the Koh Mook and Koh Libong, a stay in Trang provided a different, but equally interesting experience of city life in Trang. Beautiful landscapes surrounding city and the food scene is crazy and amazing (as with much of Thailand)! We had just one night here and a little under a day, which was a perfect amount of time for us to rent a scooter and explore a couple of cool sites in the area (Khao Chang Hai Cave, Weaving Center), visit the night markets, and experience the famous Trang dim sum breakfast. My husband and I definitely thought Trang City was worth a visit!
