This hotel was amazing!! It’s right on the beach with cozy beach chairs, a bar and restaurant connected with good food/drinks, and a gorgeous pool. You can bring your breakfast outside to one of the bar’s patio tables to feel the breeze and watch men walk by leading horses and camels. The staff were so lovely - Fatma at reception was incredibly helpful especially considering my language barrier (I don’t speak French/Arabic), and even the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and always said good morning to me and gave me the biggest smiles. I loved everything about this place. At first I thought I’d need to suck it up and pay for wifi in my room, since it only works in the lobby and courtyard, but I’m glad I didn’t - it was nice to be disconnected from social media for a while!

We really enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality of the host. It is obvious they really care about the guests. The house is cozy and clean- it feels like a home. Beautiful and quiet location with easy access to everything. We also enjoyed the restaurants recommended to us.

We loved Dar El Jerbi! It looks better than in the photographs! Everything was clean and neat, breakfast was excellent. Najia the host is super friendly and helpful, and kept introducing us to unique Tunisian/Djerbian delicacy every morning. Watch out for Milou (the family cat) who can be quite assertive with the food on the table (but we love him to bits because he reminds us of ours back home). We were there in winter, and we took the room for four. There was a downstairs and an upstairs with separate heaters and they work well. We were given the room Toumana and it is located near to where the wifi router is so we had good internet connectivity while we were there. Dar El Jerbi was easy to find using Google Maps, even though we arrived in the dark (in our rental car). It's located about 25 minutes away from Djerbahood and is in a quiet countryside area.

    People make holidays, and the staff exceeded expectations. I do not tend to take telephone numbers when travelling, certainly not from staff. However, I have taken 3 staff members to keep in touch with. It was out of season, but the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Most of the time, we were the only people staying at the hotel, but we received a full hotel service. It is a shame other travellers do not come to Djerba out of season. The weather is OK and the island is good to explore.

    Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and had the great convenience of two bathrooms. They cleaned the apartment every day and changed the towels regularly, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was simple but tasty, with a selection of eggs, croissants, baquette, jam, ham, olives, dates tomatoes, and water

    The hotel is charming and stylish, personnel is very kind and patient, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is abundant and with a large variety of high quality food. The restaurant is directly on the shore, you can dine looking at the waves with evening breeze, good prices and menu for the guests. Perfect location to relax, enjoy the sea, and visit Djerba.

    The breakfast was excellent. Nabil always went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Dar Mezraya is about 15/20 minute walk to the main road on foot, 3 minutes in a taxi so it was quite easy to move around. It also felt so peaceful and quiet. The pool was stunning and staff was really friendly!
