Hello Folks , Incredible stay at this lovely retreat Feb 4 to Feb 6th 2025 !! Even though this retreat was highly rated it exceeded my expectations in regards to the existing review ratings !! It has beautiful accommodations with a Spa like feel, high quality rooms and bedding, with exceptional design. The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful landscape vegetation and flowers everywhere, outdoor pool with swim up cocktail bar, fire pit area, nicely appointed lounging areas, and comfortable outdoor dining areas. The Breakfast and food is delicious and the whole retreat is sparkling clean ! The quality of service is well above average from this retreat, with outstanding Management ( Manny and staff ) they were attentive, polite, and super helpful in all aspects of their service, these folks go above and beyond to serve you ! My wife and I are fairly well travelled ..Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican, Ukraine, Thailand, Dubai, Africa .. Thank you for the kind hospitality. I spent my last day at this hotel after 3 weeks in the region. Perfect place for recovery and chill. I loved the monkeys playing in the garden and also saw a big turtle :)

The hosts were very friendly and gave us Tips for the area. You can also book a Tour with them. The breakfast was really lovely every morning. The lodge was very cute and cozy! We would recommend and hope to come back!

The homestay from Amadeus is a magical place. You feel very welcome and it is the perfect place to arrive or unwind. We loved it here. The Cook Ignaz deserves another 5 stars. His cuisine is fantastic, authentic and fresh. If you want to take a very special piece of Africa with you, you should definitely book here. We will come back!
