The place is absolutely amazing! The views are spectacular! The owners - Gianluigi and Nicola were absolutely amazing hosts! Very accommodating and care about the guests' needs. The Staff members Sharon, Jacqui and team were also very friendly and caring! Experiencing the sea during low / hide tide was the highlight of our stay. Being able to walk into the sea during low tide was absolutely insane to experience! Our overall experience was fantastic . We stayed at Salida leading up to our wedding and the night of. The rooms and facilities were beautiful and kept very clean at all times. The staff were always very friendly and even decorated our bed on the night of our wedding out of their own! The breakfasts are good and the staff often go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. They also have a generator which is great with all the electricity cuts. The beach is beautiful to walk at low tide and swim in during high tide. Highly recommended having a walk during low tide as there is a lot to see! We even saw some star fish!

It was a wonderful place to relax, right by the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was truly special. Olivia and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. The village is small but charming, with a beautiful beach and a few cozy restaurants. Mama Root offers breakfast, and upon request, serves delicious lunch and dinner. While there isn’t a 24/7 kitchen, food and drinks are always within easy reach at the nearby beach spots. Overall, we had an amazing time unwinding at Mama Root. Thank you, Mama & Papa Root, for opening your lovely home to us!
