Clean & beautiful

Hotel Club Dongwe has an excellent location. We enjoyed snorkelling there. The staff are very friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful host Carol. Right on the beach. Shared shower and toilet etc but the host makes up for everything if this might put you off. Try this place please. This is for back packers I guess but everyone should experience a place like this. You don't often get the chance to stay in a lovingly decorated and maintained property with a host whose authenticity and honesty shines through everything. And we only stayed ONE NIGHT!! I wish we could have stayed longer but we had other plans. As we waited for the taxi to arrive to leave, she made tea for us and gave us a home made pineapple ice lolly! What more could you want!!??

It was small only 12 units and all were virtually on the beach. It was very personal and the staff were so attentive and NOTHING was too much to ask. The air con was perfect and the fan was sufficient most of the time. The rooms were able to be closed so even when the power went off (not the resorts fault) the rooms were kept very cool. The food especially the pizzas was excellent and the Italian flavour was great. They also organised tours for us which was great as it took hassle out of it. Also transport to and from airport so we were spoilt

Very friendly staff and beautiful room

We planned a two-day and two-night stay in Piwenga to explore more parts of the island. While searching for accommodation online, we came across the Mia Boutique Hotel. The pictures immediately caught our attention, and we booked right away. Upon arrival, the reality exceeded all our expectations—the hotel was even more beautiful than in the photos. The warm welcome we received was outstanding, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. A special highlight was being able to choose our room ourselves. The standout features were the breathtaking view of the sea, the excellent location, and the outstanding food. The pool was an absolute delight, and having it almost entirely to ourselves made the experience even better. The direct access to the sea was also incredible. Overall, this is a beautiful place we would return to anytime. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Where to begin? Spent a long weekend to celebrate my wifes birthday and from the start we had a wonderful experience. Precious hosted us on arrival and was extremely attentive, professional and made us feel very welcomed. When you arrive instantly you get greeted with a beautiful open space surrounded by pristine white sand, elegantly designed rooms, beautiful natural surroundings and an instant feeling of peace, calm and serenity. The room was perfect, great size room, beautiful balcony, beautiful view and very comfortable. The team even went the extra mile and beautifully decorated the room for the occasion. I asked for a sunset romantic dinner for the evening and they did not disappoint. The setup was spectacular, romantic and to top it off the food was incredible. Hats off to the chefs, seafood platter was huge and everything perfectly cooked and seasoned, soup, salad starters, prawn curry all excellent. I asked if I could order a cake before hand to celebrate and the whole team came out singing and dancing and brought over a delicious chocolate cake, which we left nothing but crumbs. The beach and view is just spectacular, the hotel has a lot of space so it doesn't feel like you're stepping on anyone's toes and can be as private as you desire. Great size pool right in the middle and a pristine white sandy beach on your doorstep. The area is very special and the sunset remarkable, it's a quiet, relaxed part of Zanzibar that's well known for it's sunset and that is something everyone needs to experience. As well as great to walk the shoreline, which isn't filled with the hustle of other parts of the island as well as plenty of activities, kayaking, Kae fun sunset part, as well as others around should you desire some music and dancing. Breakfast was remarkably, shakshuka, avocado eggs toast. Plenty food and drink options for your whole stay. Overall we had a great experience.

The most exceptional personalised experience. Felt like a queen and my kids were free to experience the resort and their every needed tended to by staff. The private pool was a win for kids and parents. Breakfast was amazing and their lunch and supper menu was the most reasonably priced for aromatic spicey cuisine. Close to paje so we drove some evenings to experience nightlife there. The beach is good for a morning walk
