This property was such a lovely surprise. As soon as I entered you could tell every inch had a story. The room was so personalized to the smallest details, and we found out after every beautiful wood and design was made on site by recycled wood. The couple who built and and are in charge are lovely people who also reverse money to the local community for every reservation. The breakfast was insane!!! Food is grown either on site or locally. Also we asked for very last minute activities such as a guide to the waterfalls and they got it for us in 5 minutes confirmed.

The view of Kilimanjaro from the balcony is spectacular. The bathtub on the balcony is good to relax, although I only used it once. There is a nice pool. The whole property is very green and very good looked after. Everything is very clean. The majority of food in the restaurant comes from the organic farm. One of the staff, Benson, gave as a tour around the farm to see how everything works. He is enthusiastic and kind. Our waiter most of the time was Julius and he is very caring and positive person. We also liked Ismail, he seemed like the most competent in the hotel for any questions. The breakfast was great. Peaceful location.

Hello Folks , Incredible stay at this lovely retreat Feb 4 to Feb 6th 2025 !! Even though this retreat was highly rated it exceeded my expectations in regards to the existing review ratings !! It has beautiful accommodations with a Spa like feel, high quality rooms and bedding, with exceptional design. The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful landscape vegetation and flowers everywhere, outdoor pool with swim up cocktail bar, fire pit area, nicely appointed lounging areas, and comfortable outdoor dining areas. The Breakfast and food is delicious and the whole retreat is sparkling clean ! The quality of service is well above average from this retreat, with outstanding Management ( Manny and staff ) they were attentive, polite, and super helpful in all aspects of their service, these folks go above and beyond to serve you ! My wife and I are fairly well travelled ..Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican, Ukraine, Thailand, Dubai, Africa .. A new place located in a very quiet rural area a few kilometers from Moshi, the perfect hotel to recover after 6 days trekking Kilimanjaro. Lots of laundry (clothes, shoes and even my backpack), all taking care in a few hours. Gabriel the owner, together with Patricia and the team are all very friendly. Probably the best place I have stayed since the beginning of my trip in Africa 6 weeks ago. If you are unlucky to find the place fully booked, come at least for a drink in the garden and a meal, for sure the best in town !
