The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Inn Keeper was amazing, very friendly, provided information on things to do in the area. Close to the “downtown” area so we were able to walk and not deal with parking. Was a FANTASTIC experience and will be looking to book again!

Lovely hotel and room - light filled and lots of character
The Acadia Park is the best. Especially the trails: those who are into hiking will love it. Some places are too touristy: especially when the cruise ships are "in the town". Nice casual restaurants. For a nice "lobster" experience you may want to visit a quite authentic "lobstah" place (lunch or dinner) in Bernard (35 mins from Bar Harbor).

We went to Cadillac Mountain and it was absolutely wonderful, wrote up to the summit although two days that we were there it was so foggy and chilly. You couldn’t even see out, but it was still fun. We made the most of it.

Bar Harbor is a favorite of ours, we love the outdoors and hiking the many trails of Acadia National Park. The restaurants and food is great and numerous places to dine. The only concern, is the large crowds in the prime time of summer. But just plan accordingly by preparing in advance.

I highly recommend the bus tours through Acadia National Park, they are very informative, the tour guides are delightful, and the sights are lovely. Certain hotels are on a free bus line that takes you into, and out of, Bar Harbor and other attractions, that was a wonderful amenity! Will hopefully visit again to try some of the sailing tours available! We stayed at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center. The pictures included are from our room's patio :-) <3

Acadia National Park is amazing!
Acadia National Park is amazing! Bar Harbor is close by and offers shopping and dining. The seafood - particularly the oysters - were absolutely fabulous! The shuttle service from the Village to the park and various hotels was a great surprise!

Amazing food, beer and outdoor activities.
Amazing food, beer and outdoor activities. If you like national parks, Acadia National Park is as good as it gets on the East Coast. Spent 6 days in Bar Harbor feasting on lobsters and blueberries (and blueberry beer!). Spent our days hiking and swimming at the park and also did some kayaking and boating in Frenchman Bay.
I booked at this property because it provides good value for money and is a 20 minute walk to the main streets in Bar Harbor, where parking can be a challenge.
I found this to be a comfortable hotel which exceeded my expectations and I would stay there again. I appreciated the bar-sized refrigerator and the microwave which came in handy.
This was a GREAT find. Loved the country feel. Our room had been updated and was really comfortable. Was nice to have a bathroom vanity large enough to accommodate the 'stuff' of 3 adults. The breakfast was the best we had for a 'hotel' breakfast. This facility had the best laundry room of the ones we used on our trip!
The Inn is beautiful and clean. The location is perfect for walking in town and is waterfront. The breakfast was damn good too. We enjoyed the coffee/hot chocolate 24/7. Also enjoyed the bar being open in the evening.
Nice Room. Superb view on our 1st Floor. Free coach to and from Bar Harbor. Good service. Plenty of parking. Didn't use the pool but looked nice. Easy to find. A nice hotel we enjoyed our stay.
