I highly recommend the bus tours through Acadia National Park, they are very informative, the tour guides are delightful, and the sights are lovely. Certain hotels are on a free bus line that takes you into, and out of, Bar Harbor and other attractions, that was a wonderful amenity! Will hopefully visit again to try some of the sailing tours available! We stayed at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center. The pictures included are from our room's patio :-) <3

Acadia National Park is amazing!
Acadia National Park is amazing! Bar Harbor is close by and offers shopping and dining. The seafood - particularly the oysters - were absolutely fabulous! The shuttle service from the Village to the park and various hotels was a great surprise!

Amazing food, beer and outdoor activities.
Amazing food, beer and outdoor activities. If you like national parks, Acadia National Park is as good as it gets on the East Coast. Spent 6 days in Bar Harbor feasting on lobsters and blueberries (and blueberry beer!). Spent our days hiking and swimming at the park and also did some kayaking and boating in Frenchman Bay.

Visited the Thursday/Friday before July 4 -- it was wrong time to visit; cars were bumper to bumper going into and out of Bar Harbor and on the main loop through Acadia National Park; too many people exploring the quaint downtown area. Eating places easily available, parking places hard to find and required payment at nearby kiosk.

We loved Acadia.
We loved Acadia. Wish we knew about reservation for Cadillac Mtn but got one last minute. We had wonderful meals. Downtown parking is expensive. We enjoyed everything other than the Heathwood Inn which was lousy.

Frenchman's bay is beautiful but it was so crowded people were walking in the street. Lots of construction post last winters storms (I presume). Lots of other places in Maine that are also beautiful.
The Motel has undergone renovations in the last 2 years
Everything looks new and clean.
Location, location, location - 5 min walk from the Bar Harbor downtown and the Village Green park where you can take one of the free buses to the Acadia Park (for example Sand Beach)
Incredibly nice and helpful front desk assistants.
The Inn was fantastic! Extremely clean with all the amenities you need. Location is great for walking all around town. Staff were wonderful. Charmaine at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Bar Harbour.
Really superb motel in the center of Bar Harbor. The room was big and clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast- for us and our preferences, actually one of the best on our roadtrip. Great to have access to microwave and coffee. Location-perfect for whatever your plans are in Acadia
NP.
Great little Inn with perfect location to explore Bar Harbor and surrounding areas. The breakfast was amazing every day and inn keeper Chris makes you feel so welcome and is super helpful with any tips during your stay. We can’t wait to come back!
Nice Room. Superb view on our 1st Floor. Free coach to and from Bar Harbor. Good service. Plenty of parking. Didn't use the pool but looked nice. Easy to find. A nice hotel we enjoyed our stay.
