It was the best Christmas trip. We were amazed by the city, monuments and the beauty of the seasonal Christmas decorations. The one world observatory and the Rock had a wonderful view of the entire city, the Radio City Tour and show was amazing, the food is so diverse. 4 days was not enough to do and see everything we wanted to see. We most likely visit New York again.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn - Brooklyn downtown and it was very dissatisfying to say the least. First of all, I booked 2 rooms with double beds for 8 people. Our rooms where supposed to be next to each other or connected. One room was on the 10th floor and the 2nd was on the 2nd floor. When we arrived to the room on the 10th floor, the smell was terrible. It look like the room was never clean. We went to the other room to check and everything was fine. As soon as we did that we went to the lobby to request room changed. At first the lady said "Ok no problem, our Manager will check and come talk to you" We waited for like 30 minutes when she came she decline to change our rooms because she didn't smell anything! We had a group of 15 people come in in separate rooms and they all agreed that something's wrong but the manager was denying everything. She decline to give us her card or name. Is this what Hampton Inn stands for? This is unacceptable the service was unprofessional and very rude. Nobody wanted to talk to us because they said they can't change the room and that's it! I spend $500 for 2 rooms, we wasted time, money and it was terrible stay and very uncomfortable. I will never spend a night at Hampton Inn or Hilton in my life. And I was with the group of 15 people and they all agree! Just terrible!
I am a home town girl coming back to visit so just loved being able to come back home and have a place that is so comfortable and close to nice restaurants I would definitely stay here again and close to good shopping as well
Very nice hotel conveniently located. Updated rooms with comfortable bed. Everything was perfect except for the ugly awkward bathroom sink, which is a very small thing. Overall, it is a very nice hotel.
Well i had requested a crib for my baby there was no crib i was however upgraded to two queen beds. But there was alot of noise coming from the room across me constant slamming of doors and music playing and loud chatter in the hall way.
Brooklyn is not what it used to be. We visited Greenpoint and Williamsburg both lovely and quaint. Easy access to subways to get around to the different areas. Lots of hometown diners and restaurants to eat. Krolewskie Jadro is an Excellent Polish spot for lunch or dinner. Manhattan Diner for breakfast. Starbucks on every corner. People are very friendly.

Location is really great, right on the water (East River) in Dumbo. The hotel is new, modern, and has an amazing rooftop with panoramic views. Guests are welcome to go to the rooftop in the winter too just for views, though the pool is closed for the season. There is a bar on the 10th floor with great views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. Subway is a 5-10 min walk that takes you into Manhattan. Lots of places to eat in Dumbo. Valet parking is available for $45 USD. Bed was super comfy and tv had lots of channels.

Transportation is easy with dollar vans (2 dollar fares straight up and down Flatbush), mta subway at Nevins (2.75 fare), uber x/pool (one rider /shared rides)...pretty convenient and really pretty modern lobby

Great room with a view over Manhattan. Very good sleep - soundproof windows and thick walls, not that easy to find in NYC. We felt really comfortable even though we didn't find time to explore the hotel's pool and other amenities. Amazing location in Williamsburg, perfect for exploring both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Great hospitality from Peter E., the ambassador. Would love to be back there one day.

The property was close to work for me and it was close to my girlfriends family up in Williamsburg. They have a 24hr bodega open in case you need anything from there since hotel items generally tend to be a little overpriced. It’s around the corner to your right as soon as you exit the hotel. Room service provided extra sheets and towels when requested and picked up our bed for us which was cool.

The property is just beautiful, the decor is amazing and the floor to ceiling windows are just like the pictures. Fantastic central location in Williamsburg, 5 mins from Bedford Subway and lots of great restaurants and bars nearby, not least Ides Bar and Reynard at the hotel! Staff were friendly and made an effort to remember you! We will stay here again when we return to Brooklyn next.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants, bars, food markets, bakeries, wine shops etc. nearby and subway L line is about 8 mins of walking from the hotel. You can get to Manhattan in 15mins. The ferry pier to Brooklyn bridge is about 10 mins on foot. I definitely recommend this hotel. Althought the room is very simple and small, the location is perfect!!

The general atmosphere was very motivating. I recommend this hotel for young travellers, but if you have young children you better book somewhere closer to the tourist attraction. It's a good walk to brooklyn bridge and beyond but not with the little ones.

Very big room, comfortable, good bed, big bathrooms with nice smelling toilettries. Much more than I expected, given the price. People at the reception desk were helpful and warm, there is very nice space for coffee or drinks. An idiot set off the fire alarm at 2 in the morning, but this is hardly the hotel's fault.
