Located in the center of Brandywine Valley, 2.7 mi from Brandywine River Museum of Art, Fairville Inn Main House features rooms with individually controlled heating and air conditioning. This is our second visit to Fairville and the first with the new owners. Everything was perfect even though they are not fully open due to the corona virus. Our room is lovely. The breakfast, served on our porch was very good. The owners are welcoming and very friendly. We will definitely be back!
This Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania bed and breakfast is housed in an 18th century home in the historic Brandywine Valley. It is surrounded by 8 acres of gardens and wooded trails. A very special place and great comfortable connection with the owners. A true island in between all the cold chain hotels. THIS IS S SPECIAL. Heritage place with very warm people. Thank you we will be back.

The property was immaculately clean, the staff were super pleasant and helpful. The manager is absolutely wonderful and extremely accommodating.
This motel located in West Chester, Pennsylvania is 4 miles from West Chester University of Pennsylvania South Campus and 3 miles from Brandywine Battlefield State Park. The room was nicely upgraded. Did not use WiFi if available. Dish tv. Did miss a blowdryer but not too major.
Located south of West Chester, this hotel is 30 minute-drive from Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. It features an indoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The staff was extremely friendly. I felt very welcome and it was a great location and price. I will definitely recommend this place and stay here every time I travel. Thank you! By the way, the two ladies who helped me with my “grab and go” breakfast were really awesome.
Lots of historical sites Longwood Garden was a delightful experience (no place to purchase water bring your own! Food places were great, Hanks was so tasty! All reasonably priced Chadds Ford Winery was a wonderful little gem with pleasant staff and great wines for every palate
A charming small PA town with good restaurants and an excellent art museum. Brandywine River Museum. It is the site of a Revolutionary War Battlefield. It is close to Longwood Gardens. The local hosts are kind and welcoming.
Chadds Ford is quintessential rural America. You can view the beginnings of our country through the historical areas such as Brandywine Battlefield and the Colonial Plantation. The countryside is still evocative of the 1700's farm and flegling industries. Longwood Gardens is an international gem, as is the rest of the DuPont legacy in the Brandywine Valley with the Hagley Museum, Nemours and Wintethur Estates. Restaurants are first-rate. And the art impact of the Wyeths cannot be matched anywhere (see Brandywine Art Museum). Nearby Kennett Square and other areas are wonderful stop-overs. This is a rich and still vibrant area that visitors will enjoy for a weekend or longer. And the residents are dedicated to conserving this beautiful area.
Longwood Gardens is the former home and estate of Pierre DuPont, president of DuPont chemicals and GM (died 1954). It is now a spectacular garden open to the public (adult adm around $23) with impressive fountains, botanical garden, Italian garden, glass houses, etc. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Close to things we wanted to see. Longwood gardens, Brandywine River museum, center city Philadelphia, The Italian market. Franklin mint, Brandywine battle park, and Chadds Ford Winery. King of Prussia was close too, for shopping and restaurants.
Wonderful scenic area, so much natural beauty and history. Longwood Gardens a must see! Hank's Place was very good place for breakfast -- fast and friendly service. Shopping, museums, restaurants, wineries -- amazing place to visit. Will definitely come again.
