Charged my card four times, saying it was declined but the charges came out of my bank account and I was stuck with almost $1400 coming out of my account. The woman working the desk does not know what she is doingI never even saw an office where I could go, BEWARE.

Cherokee is a beautiful community in a beautiful spot, and an opportunity to experience a culture in addition to scenery. It admittedly has "touristy" elements -- and hey, when I'm there I'm a tourist! -- but nothing as tacky as Gatlinburg across the way.

    Cherokee has many tourist shops.

Cherokee has many tourist shops. Don´t miss the store Qualla Art just cross over the Cherokee Museum. They have art and craft made by Indian artists. It´s wonderful to walk in there. Also make a visit to the Indian Village. It cost 20$. Don´t miss out on the Cherokee Museum. And offcourse the nature around Cherokee.

I like the staff very friendly and especially the older lady at the desk! I like their breakfast it has a variety of food. I didn’t like the hole under the carpet by the elevator not safe! The queen bed is small and the pillows are too soft! Overall, great for the price.

We very much enjoyed especially two restaurants.

We very much enjoyed especially two restaurants. The ALL FRIED UP restaurant was awesome. The fish dinners that we ordered reminded me of some the very best seafood that you find at the beach, but this seafood was prepared right in a mountain town in North Carolina. Also Granny's Kitchen is a place we have eaten many times down thru the years. Actually our first time eating there was over 48 years ago and is still great food. This location was convenient for us since we took a train ride at Bryson City. Also Cherokee's mountain streams, park areas and the walking areas around the streams are beautiful and add very much to the trip. Also we had several sightings of the elks, and also some turkeys. Just a neat little town.

Cherokee is a very interesting and fun place to visit.

Cherokee is a very interesting and fun place to visit. We went to the bonfire on Saturday night and it was very interesting. Our main reason was to go to Bryson City to ride the train. Cherokee was a good distance to stay and was a quick trip to the train and back again. We ate at Paul's Restaurant and also Granny's Kitchen in Cherokee. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend both. Saw the elk in Cherokee and inside the Great Smoky Mtns NP. Close to Mingo Falls and Mingus Mill.

We did the museum last year with the grandkids that was awesome. This year we went to Oconaluftee Village it was wonderful, I have some knowledge about the Cherokee because I researched it .I have Cherokee ancestors is why it’s interesting to me.It was very educational to walk thur the village and see first hand how they lived.Unto the hills was awesome too but sad to me. We just didn’t have time to see and do a lot of things. We will be back!

One person at the reception. We came early so the receptionist said they are cleaning our room and she will assign a room for us and I asked her to call me when the room was assigned. We went to the Casino and 45 minutes later she called and said the room is ready. We went to check in but there was a group from Cherokee School and the gentlemen who was in the reception took forever to check them in and there was a line of customers to check in.
