Located in Dubois, Rocky Mountain Lodge offers a garden. There's a grill and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. Clean room, so comfortable and nice little kitchen. I don’t drink coffee but maybe you should add with the free coffee in the room some hot chocolate.
Offering free Wi-Fi in rooms, this Dubois, Wyoming motel is 30 minutes’ drive to the entrance of Teton National Forest. Golfing opportunities at Antelope Hills Golf Course is 5 minutes’ drive away. It was an older facility and the staff did everything possible to offset the wear and tear. Dubois is isolated, so this clean hotel was a nice find. The staff was a bit perfunctory but we assumed this was due to cross cultural differences rather than an attitude. Overall, we found it clean and the staff accommodating when asked.

We came to Dubois to visit the National Museum of Military Vehicles. Amazing museum! I'm not that interested in vehicles or war - and so I was surprised that I liked it so much - but learning the history of each war and the sacrifices made by our veterans was captivating. Went back for the second day. Also went on a great hike to Louise Lake - ate at Noon Rock pizza and Cowboy Cafe. Both very delicious. Also saw the stained glass windows in St. Thomas' church. Very friendly people. Went on a beautiful ride to Brooks Lake and saw the Pinnacles. Wonderful area to spend a few days.
Dubois is a cute little town with a BIG history. It was interesting and if traveling there again, think ahead and make reservations if you want to eat in town. The grocery store is a little pricey, but I think it was because the cost of living is high. DEFINATELY go to the Museum of Military vehicles.
If i knew i would be staying in a cabin not in a room the way you've shown in the accommodation. 1 night or never at all stayed there. Look at the picture shown at the website it says room not a cabin. The amenities shown in the picture is different from what we booked.
Hard to tell, nothing was open........people were ok not overly friendly.......I live in western Colorado folks are much more friendly here.......I'm used to small towns and I normally really like Wyoming, however places like Casper and Buffalo and Sheridan are nicer......
Dubois is small but has a lot of offer. We enjoyed the pizza from Noom and they had a great selection of beers, even some from our home state of WI! The grocery store was well stocked and had everything you could want which is a perk in a small town. The park by the Big Horn Sheep Museum was our favorite place to take our dog for some exercise. Also, visit the Big Horn Sheep Museum! We stayed at the Longhorn Ranch due to its great reviews but wouldn't go back. Driving through the mountains close by we saw lots of mule deer, a black bear, and even some moose! We will definitely be back to track down some elk and bighorn sheep! We look forward to staying at Crooked Creek Ranch, which has the best burgers, and checking out more of the shops in Dubois in the future! Just do all your researching beforehand because we had no cell reception unless we were connected to wifi.
I enjoy Dubois every year I go ! Everyone in town in all the shops are pleasant to talk with. The Cowboy Cafe is amazing and the food is excellent. I just wish they had more steak houses . The country is so beautiful, the lakes and rivers , creeks are fun to fish. Always advise other visitors to keep a close watch out for the bears in the area and out in the country.
I was VERY impressed with the Longhorn Ranch. Everything was spotless, beds were comfortable. We stayed out late in Dubois and they were kind enough to leave our key out for us to check in. We took a week long vacation through Montana/Idaho/Wyoming and this was by far my favorite place we stayed. Will definitely be staying when we come back in the winter. My absolute favorite part was the morning views (shown in photo). It was perfect
Enjoyed our 3 night stay here, had a lovely room looking out towards the river Would definitely recommend this Inn to others travelling to Dubois
Accessible. Easy parking. Easy to get back on the road! Dubois (down the road) has a couple of good bar/food options.
Great room, loved it. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room!
