United KingdomI can’t imagine many stopping in Prescott overnight. I was there for the parkrun next day, having driven up from Vegas. The hotel is right on the edge of town. Large room, 2 double beds. Kettle, fridge, microwave. Great parking. Great Wi-Fi. I walked the mile into town, which is quaint, found a superb pizza at Bills and just relaxed.

SwedenWe really enjoyed staying here! The staff was so welcoming and kind. The rooms were even better than we thought they would be. Super fresh and well cleaned. An extra plus was the lady who worked at the breakfast, she really made an effort to help us find gluten free alternatives. Would strongly recommend this place!

There are many beautiful vistas & trails at Watson Lake!,...
There are many beautiful vistas & trails at Watson Lake!, but I did not appreciate the overly belligerent Park Ranger dressing me down for not having my gate pass in the car window. (I forgot and tucked it in the dashboard.) Also do not like the round-a-abouts: and I imagine they are a pain snowplow drivers to clear in the winter also!

Prescott is absolutely beautiful!! The scenery is amazing!
Prescott is absolutely beautiful!! The scenery is amazing! Watson Lake is spectacular ! Plan on going back in September to do some hiking and possibly some horseback riding. We stayed at the Holiday Inn express I highly recommend this hotel to stay in. It’s close to the historic downtown area, also the lazy G eatery has some good food!

Very cool town, great hiking, some great shops and...
Very cool town, great hiking, some great shops and restaurants. El Charro Norte in Chino Valley is extraordinary if you're a fan of Mexican food. Speaking of Chino Valley, not many places like this exist anymore so head north on hwy 89 for a few miles and take in the wonderful environment.

Too hot to do much outside but would recommend Heritage Park...
Too hot to do much outside but would recommend Heritage Park zoo for rescued animals. when weather allows. Be sure to check out the Sharlot Hall museum--great info about historic aspects of the area. Also check out Palace saloon on Whiskey Row serving toughest customers since 1877. Often has events at Courthouse Square--music, art shows.

Prescott has a couple of theaters, several lakes and hiking...
Prescott has a couple of theaters, several lakes and hiking in the pine trees . Its a winter wonderland and not just in wintertime. Had a little rain which helped cool it off in the month of July. But didnt rain all day. So still able to get outside. Many parks especially for children and dogs to play. Shopping in town and the gateway mall. They have a game place called Get Air and kids especially can get lots of exercize jumping and bouncing. Have zoo and lots of historical places.

What beautiful scenery!
What beautiful scenery! It was only a short 90-minute drive from Sun City to experience a quaint community that had it all! The square was beyond fun! So many stores and restaurants/bars to choose from. Everywhere you looked there was great architecture and landscaping, rivers and hiking trails. The rocks, oh, the rock formations! Wait until you see this beautiful little city, it's charming and peaceful.

What a great find! Substantially sized property within walking distance of downtown Prescott. The amenities were plentiful- great kitchen, washer and drier and a bath tub!
Lovely touches like soaps/shampoo/conditioner/laundry detergent made for light packing.
The photos don’t do it justice.
Much better option that a faceless overpriced hotel room.

The property was excellent, exceeded my expectations. Tastefully restored, my room was all dressed up like a cowboys. The hotel has its own faux historic alleyway with shops, a nice quiet bar with music, free parking and a speakeasy around the corner. Staff were very friendly

We were on the 5th floor and had a beautiful view of the desert valley. The beds were overall pretty comfy. The breakfast room service was great and tasty as well as the food in the restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.
