The helpfulness of the staff, very friendly and caring.
My friend accidentally left her cell phone in the shuttle on the way to JFK. I called the hotel and explained the problem. Front desk staff listened patiently and put me on hold. Another staff person came on the line and said the cell phone was found and the driver would return to the drop off location. I said that my friend would meet him. She was so grateful and relieved as we were flying to Portugal and not having her phone would be devastating. The driver was gracious and kind. The situation was handled expertly by all involved hotel staff. We want to extend our appreciation to them. Such a friendly, professional, and efficient team!
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return to the Hampton Inn on our next adventure.
Thank you from Cynthia and best friend Peggy.

The location was good for LaGuardia airport and the room was clean and comfortable. The free shuttle bus at all hours of the day and night was particularly useful as I had an early flight the day after arrival. The small food selection at reception was also a good addition. The lady on the front desk when I arrived, Deana, was exceptional. She couldn’t do enough for me and as a solo traveler this made a big impression on me.

There was a corner grocery store that had everything you needed. Coffee was great and my friends had a salad and sandwich that they absolutely loved. The subway was in walking distance and people were so helpful when we needed directions. The area was clean but the parking was not so great so we let the van stay parked the entire time and road the subway. We truly loved our hotel and the rooms were beautiful.

I grew up in Queens.
I grew up in Queens. It has the Mets, the Queens Museum, JFK, LGA, the John Bowne House, Flushing Meadows Park and the US Open, Little India in Jackson Heights, Mandarin Town Flushing, and the former bakery where Christopher Walken's parents worked. (It's no longer there.) Also, Uncle George's closed, but there are still some good Greek restaurants in Astoria. I recommend the Omonia Cafe for pastries. There's also PS-1 (MOMA), the Noguchi Museum, and the Socrates Sculpture Park. There's more, but when all is and and done, it's not Manhattan.
The shuttle bus (from Federal Circle) was standing by after I arrived there. Very courteous and efficient to and from the hotel.
Check in was a breeze thanks to Gorge who was definitely a service oriented guy. 5 stars for the check in and check out staff and Gorge in particular.
The room was fantastic...absolutely clean and comfortable.
This will be my go to hotel when transiting via NYC.
A modestly priced hotel in what is basically an industrial area of Queens. Large room, fairly comfortable bed, good selection of toiletries an excellent choice at breakfast. A ten minute walk to the subway which will take you to mid-town Manhattan in about 15 minutes.
Really nice and clean hotel with a beautiful view (6th floor room facing the Queensboro bridge) and friendly staff. Good variety at breakfast. Really attentive housekeeping and pleasant atmosphere. Close to three Subway stations, short ride to main attractions.
This is an adequate no frills hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. The location is great - right next to Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza, with access to many subway lines. Easy from JFK.
Great Location!
Good business Hotel does the trick for a convenient short stay
20 min walk from the water front park, really nice!
