While the exterior is nothing special, the interior was beautifully decorated, and the view of the marina and bridge was great! Wonderful location and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was especially yummy! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

St. Augustine is a true gem of a city.

St. Augustine is a true gem of a city. We stayed in the Old Town area, it was quiet (not during Bike Week), safe and secure. One thing we immediately noticed, ALL restaurant servers during the entire week were exceptional. All shop keepers were smiling, warm, welcoming and receptive to just visiting. Coming from an area where nice, friendly people live, it is refreshing to find other towns where everyone you encounter isn't upset, grumpy or rude. The only caution, don't go during Bike Week. The Old Town is full of Harley's. It's incredibly noisy but absolutely no problems with safety, all the bikers we encountered were friendly, but Harley's and other big bikes aren't quiet. If you don't like very loud noise and engine revving, check the Bike Week dates.

I have been there a few times .

I have been there a few times . I love the history as is oldest town in US . There are many quaint shops and specialty shops , a garden area ( I call it that , as has a fountain and little shops as well as outdoor tables for food.) I enjoy sitting there during the day , listening to the different music artists . There is lots to see . Believe second largest lighthouse you can climb in Florida. ( climbed it ) Been on the ghost tour and trolley tour. I would go there again and again and never be bored. Each time I see and learn something new. Mary’s next to best Western is a great place for breakfast !

We traveled from central FL to see Rod Stewart on March 5...

We traveled from central FL to see Rod Stewart on March 5 and were not planning on much of anything else but ended up taking an Uber to Columbia Restaurant in old town because my sister had never been there. It was outstanding as we expected. Before leaving the area the next day, we drove to 6 Mile Creek and had lunch at the Outback Crab Shack which has been totally rebuilt since the last time we visited. Again, very happy with the experience. We then took the short drive to Green Cove Springs for some nostalgic memories of our days boating on the St. John's in that area. A great trip, although short, and well worth the visit.

Beautiful, fun and interesting place to visit.

Beautiful, fun and interesting place to visit. I would suggest at least a 3 day visit. The tour of the fort was very interesting and very well done. If you like history and architecture you will love it. If you like to shop and dine you won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite places to visit.

One of my favorite places to visit. I travel with my husband at work every month going to Georgia and Atlanta. On the way back, we always try to stop over to St. Augustine. It is a beautiful town, great atmosphere, great restaurants, and stores.

St Augustine is a fine destination with historic destinations, shops, food, trolley, multiple beaches, winery, chocolate factory, lighthouse, zip line, and museums that offer several fun filled days. I've been visiting since the mid 90s

The staff were able to check us in early which was very helpful as we were trying to get somewhere safe from the impending hurricane. The bedroom was a great size, comfy bed and the bathroom was OK. Great having a patio looking out over the waters and St Augustine. Interesting choice of places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. Easy drive to the beach from the hotel. We were able to park right outside our room so helpful to move our luggage and shopping into the room.

Beautiful house with nice rooms very close to the historic heart of St. Augustine. The breakfast was much better than at every other hotel we stayed: homemade, fresh and delicious. I myself would have preferred a decent buffet with *fresh* produce, but we never found that in the US unfortunately. This little hotel was a breeze compared to other experiences in the US.
