The immediate area of the hotel is pretty awful.

The immediate area of the hotel is pretty awful. Nothing but trucking companies and semis coming and going. But if you just want a nice room with good highway access, this is a good place to stay. The little town of Sumner is charming and well worth a visit.

We were looking for comfort, safety and quiet place to stay-this is the place. It's clean and simple. If you're looking for fancy, you vetter look somewhere else. If you're looking for good friendly people, this is it.

I am very unhappy with the charges.

I am very unhappy with the charges. Upon booking it was $157.00. After the stay the charges went upto $173.00 Plus an additional $25.00 As OCCUPANT FEE! Does ghosts get charged too?! There is no transparency with hotel booking and charges. Nothing is revealed up front. And, charges are added under some guise or another. They just deepens their pocket and fleece people. I thought I had finally found a good place but upon review of the bank statements I will continue looking for a place that meets my expectation.

We were surprised that there wasn’t a breakfast in the hotel, but after we saw our room with kitchenette understood the basic premise of the place. The room was wonderfully laid out for long stays. I enjoyed the workout room and free coffee in the lobby. There wasn’t anything around the hotel to see, but our purpose was to visit relatives and we just needed a place to stay, so it was perfectly located for that.

Great breakfast. No complaints. Would prefer scrambled eggs. But the omelettes were very good. Loved the sausages. We were there for our father-in-laws funeral at the Sumner Cemetery where family has been for over 100 years. Your staff was very gracious to let a few of us (6) come back afterwards to socialize.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They had little almond milks which we were grateful for as that is not always available in hotels. We were grateful they had a working hot tub.
