The staff are knowledgeable and very kind and helpful. The Rooibos accommodation is pretty new, nicely renovated and well maintained. Its also a quiet location , no street noise, near the small pool. The breakfast and dinner options are great and the dishes are amazing and delicious. The parking on the opposite of the street works well.

It was really exceptional. I’m always wary about high scores, this truly deserves it. Massive room and bathroom. It’s the little things that make the difference. Attention to detail, everything was done with guests in mind. The host and staff were incredible, friendly and attentive.

We loved the ambience....it felt like home. Cosy and friendly. Despite constant rain we loved our stay and utilised one of the fireplaces for a wonderful family gathering. Food was delightful in both restaurants, breakfast fantastic. When the rain eventually stopped the scenery was spectacular. The hosts made great recommendations for nearby wineries. Highly recommended. We would love to return.

Its an old town with lots of character and charm, especially on Church Street. Love how you are totally surrounded by the mountains, and the sunsets were beautiful. Great place to explore the areas wine farms.

Church Street and its four museums was well worth the visit...

Church Street and its four museums was well worth the visit and the walk down its whole length very interesting. It was clean and the old houses well restored and maintained. In general, there should be some detail of the artifacts in the museums (e.g. what year are they?, what were they used for? where did they come from? This would be of much more value to a visitor than "Do not touch" The 1969 earthquake museum was particularly interesting with its stories and pictures . We found good cafes in the main street. However, there was a sense of the slow decay that is taking place in many small towns, with an abundance of litter being added to in front of our eyes.

The town itself is not as quaint as expected, but the restaurants and hotel make up for that. The wine farms in the area are all gorgeous and the road to each is scenic, with the mountain range forming the backdrop. i enjoyed it.

Tulbagh is an old world town - filled with Cape Dutch homes and buildings. There are a few eateries in town - Chef & Co being the best. A visit to the earthquake museum a little disappointing but still worth a visit.

Very small town but loved the vineyards and eateries in and around the town. Can highly recommend Saronsberg Wine Estate, Chef & Co diner and Kole & Deeg (for their amazing roosterbrood toasties, yummy scones and delish breakfast).

The Tulbach Boutique Heritage hotel that we found in the middle of town( after a long trip from Namibia on the 23 rd of December and the totally mispresented La Reve Boutique ! Hotel) Was the best ever experience Friendly staff Excellent service in every aspect!

The facilities are outstanding, like a bathtub, indoor and outdoor braai. The luxury toiletries and complimentary cookies and wine were very nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The wine tasting at the reception is very close and a great value for money. There is a nice walking trail on the farm.

Breathtaking views of the Tulbagh mountains. Refreshing swimming pool and great amenities. Loved the country lifestyle and morning walks on the farm. The breakfast was filling and very convenient that they had a restaurant on the farm. Loved the pizza.

Property is in a great location which is quiet and in a beautiful setting. Breakfast is wonderful, but unfortunately there are no evening meals and so we went to the Tulbagh Heritage hotel, which again was wonderful.

Absolutely stunning location. It is nestled on a farm with an amazing view over the valley. Not far from Tulbagh where you can enjoy lunch of dinner. Very friendly and accommodating host. Loved the dog!
