Nice little house near to the train station and supermarkets not far also. In the centre of town too. A great base to explore the Valley and mountains. Melk is a nice quiet place.

The property is nicely located. It is in a quiet town which does not have much to recommend it, except for being quiet and restful of course. It is in the middle of the hills and woods with some fields around it. There is a little SPAR Supermarket and a bakery within walking distance for all your daily needs. All sightseeing in the area is within easy reach if you have a car. If you are looking for a "base" to stay and do your sight seeing from, this place is optimal. The property is enclosed and your dog can run free on the property. The host has several dogs herself, and the gardens do not touch. The host is super friendly, and will try to help. The property had bed sheets and towels available. There was an Iron, and a hairdryer. There were showers upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook. There is also a (noisy) dishwasher. The property had enough space to sleep at least 6 people, so with 2 adults and a dog it felt very roomy (very luxurious feeling) The property was cool on the warmest days of the year (30+) downstairs even without Airco, but a bit hot upstairs.

The location was super serene, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful and Leopold itself was designed with function and cosiness in mind. Great hosts, would definitely stay there again!
