Cottages in Huairou

This was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in a while. Lily, Yang, and their kids were exceptionally kind and considerate. Always attentive and helped in any way possible. Advised us on times and routes for the Great Wall. Being 10 min walk away with an amazing view from their rooftop was well worth the stay. The food they cook was always top notch.

Mi liked we were picked up ny the owner himself and we were able to check in lare. They also fed us at the hotel.

It should be mentioned, this property is a ten-minute drive from our object, the Great Wall. Although there are closer hotels, friends were effusive in its praise, so we decided to stay at the Flower Yard. The inn is clean, spacious, bright and inviting. The queen bed was especially comfortable. The morning meal was delicious and huge. Most of all, we were moved by the outstanding service from Angel - and her helpers. Angel arranged transport to and from the Wall, guided us at the Wall and managed a long list of details that made this momentous adventure even more memorable. We are grateful for her attentiveness and delightful welcome throughout our stay and in communication before and after. We join our friends in their effusivenss. The jacuzzi in the family room with wide screen cinema, and the very helpful Mickey the attendant owner…lovely area in the village surrounded by Great Wall mountains.
