We have stayed in dozens of places all over Europe, but none were as cozy and down-to-earth-artistic as this one! I took pictures of every space, including the bathrooms! The natural wood and stone made us feel we were living in a beautifully-preserved cottage from the past. The fireplace in the kitchen was so cozy and inviting that we spent many hours as a family, just sitting on the couch, playing board games (lots of fun choices!), drinking tea and chatting. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything we needed, and the bedrooms could not be more cozy and inviting. We took so many short walks and hikes in the surrounding areas, we did not even feel the need for our car. The friendly neighborhood, donkeys, the sheep being herded down the narrow stone streets by the house, the horses, etc. made for a perfectly charming stay!
