Absolutely LOVED everything about this beautiful home! Fantastic details in the home, hospitality, great communication, and tranquil environment. The house is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and you can walk into the town as well if you’d like. Super peaceful environment, the house is so charming, Mel is a fantastic host! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Mel goes above and beyond and we will most certainly return!

It felt like we were guests in someone’s home. Adrian and his daughter greeted us when we arrived and made us all feel so welcome. Although we had a language barrier (we speak English and he speaks Spanish) we were able to communicate with hand gestures and the help of his daughter who is learning English. The house is an easy 5 minute walk to a few local cafes and another 5-10 minutes walk down into town. The town and harbor are beautiful and the house was plenty big! We even got to pick oranges and lemons from the yard. There was an outdoor clothesline (but it rained the day we did laundry) and plenty of room in the garage to hang limes for drying. Beds were comfy but pillows were too hard for my taste. The kitchen was well equipped and Adrián was always available for questions like how to turn on the cooktop and select the burner😁. I highly recommend this house and the town of Luarca.
