This was our favorite stay among many wonderful places on the Archipelago Trail. The sauna was FABULOUS, our host was sweet, and the cottage is a perfect taste of Finland.

Everything about the property was great, there was nothing we felt was missing and the value for money was really good. Both saunas are great, the lake is clean and nice to swim in (very nice to go back and forth between that and the wooden sauna), the kitchen and gas BBQ were well equipped and easy to use. The extra facilities like the massive TV and the billiard table were very nice to have. There is even Wi-Fi available, which was not mentioned in the property description.

Great and very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The lake and swimming area right in the walking distance. Wonderful authentic experience with wooden sauna and grill, where you need to chop the woods to make everything ready. The cabin is very well equipped. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Our host was caring, checking in once a day (if necessary) and fulfilled all our wishes. The tyre of one of the rented bikes gave up during a trip, but she repaired it right away the next day.

We rented one of the larger chalets, which had everything one needs and could desire. Our hosts Tiina and Juho stopped by to chat a little ... and to let us know that the (wood-heated) sauna was ready. Quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. There was quite a bit of wild life: one night dears stopped by right in front of the cottage!

If you like the idea of stepping back in time to a bucolic working farm with kind hosts, a house with a yellow timber facade and authentic, rambling furniture, an exquisite waterfront sauna and pier, pet ducks and sheets drying in the wind, book this place : )
