The location is perfect in a quiet back road in the hamlet of St Hellier overlooking the Varenne valley in the beautiful Pays-de-Bray clay vale district. The facilities are new and top grade and the private parking and garden are safe havens - this is a perfect Normandy cottage for two adults.

The location of the property was lovely. Very peaceful & close proximity to nearby towns & villages (by car). The exterior matches the pictures. Inside it's a a nice featured property with a well stocked kitchen, and the bedrooms were a decent size. The WiFi was broken on arrival but this was fixed the next day, although the speed was only good for one device at a time.

The property was set in spectacular grounds with wonderful walks around the lakeside. Very easy to get to.. beautiful attention to detail in front of the owners chateau. Safe and secure with parking for our car and the Wi-Fi was very good. It was warm and comfortable and had plenty of storage.

Sidney opens up his home to guests (3 guest bedrooms, 1 bathroom) and was a great host. makes you feel very comfortable as if at your own home. house is very charming, well taken care of and secluded in quiet area. you can drive to nearby sites in the Normandy area. fireplace in the evening, as well as the sauna were nice amenities to help you enjoy! would definitely recommend

Nestled in the picturesque heart of Normandy, this house is a true gem for anyone seeking a genuine experience of French country living. The coziness of the home is immediately palpable, with its meticulously maintained features that speak volumes of its heritage and the care put into its preservation. The centerpiece, an open fireplace, adds an incomparably cozy vibe that invites you to unwind and relax. On chilly evenings, the fireplace became our favorite gathering spot, where the crackling of the firewood and the soft glow of the flames created a perfect setting for family stories and laughter.
