Stunning views. Great use of space. Open plan downstairs but with clear zones for lounge, kitchen and dining areas. Comfortable furniture. Really attractive bedroom and bathroom with generous sized bath and power shower with hot water. Good television plus board games and books. Loads of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Charming old cottage with real fire and logs. Loads of useful stuff like blankets, throws, microwave, washer, ironing board, air and hairdryer. Most comfy bed we have ever slept in. Outside eating area with small bistro style table and chairs. Good bedding and towels provided. Loved the stable door. Great to have ease of parking and a charming village pub with friendly staff and clientele.

It is a fantastic location in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful and green. Hot tub was really cool as it was a wood burning one. Enclosed small garden where we could allow our dog off leash, which is a bonus. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. Beautiful swimming pool and sauna on top of that. Would certainly be recommending this to others and will be visiting again.

It was beautiful with very intricate details, lovely touches with the wine, eggs left for us on arrival. Perfect little getaway. Loved seeing the goats, Rheas and sheep. Helen was lovely and accommodating.

What a very beautiful authentic house with a great view. On arrival we received Charles with his cute dog Hetty (so sweet) a short word of welcome and explanation. The house consists of a cozy sitting room, fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The whole house and garden are really beautifully decorated. We have been to Drogo Castle and Buckfast Abbey, both highly recommended. You also see a lot of Dartmoor along the way.
