It was a lovely little home in the english countryside. Modern with a country touch and comfortabel beds. It had all the comfort you needed for cooking a dinner, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and even a washing machine. Outside, there are plenty of walking trials you can follow. The roads are at several places small, but that's the countryside for you!

The bathroom and bedrooms were immaculate. It has just the perfect size common room & kitchen for vacation. The location is the best you'll find in Sherborne period. I loved my stay and I hope that when I'm drawn back to the city that the Yardhouse is available then.

What a beautiful, charming home from home! Just the kind of place we dream about when we watch "Escape to The Country". Beautifully and tastefully decorated whilst maintaining the character of the property. Beams, flagstone floors, beautiful garden, dedicated parking spots, lovely kitchen, rolltop tub . . . and that and spitting distance from pubs, restaurants and shopping! We were lucky to have some unseasonably warm weather for our autumn stay so we had gin and tonics in the garden. Yay! Oh yeah, and Fox's chocolate bisquits in the kitchen when we arrived. How thoughtful!
