It was our second time in Iceland, however the first time here. Without doubt, this was the best accommodation we had in Iceland on both trips. Room is sufficiently large for larger luggage and is cleaned daily. The breakfast is the best we had during our stays in Iceland with fresh homemade bread, waffles, omelette. Abba and Hlynur are amazing hosts that make your stay worthwhile. Loved playing with Blámi, their guards dog. We definitely want to come back.

It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.

The house is beautifully located - isolated enough that we could see the northern lights but close enough to anything we needed. It's spacious and clean, and the hot tub is a huge bonus. The staff was also super helpful and solved any problem that came up within the same day.
