Cottages in Fermo

Other than the view from the balcony, there was not much to like about the "bait and switch" off-site old apartment we were forced to take or lose our non-refundable payment. We reserved Agriturismo Le Vigne because it had an on-site restaurant for dinner, which we needed after a long drive, as well as breakfast, and because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, they overbooked the night we reserved but took our non-refundable booking anyway. They called to tell us they had no rooms available but would put us up in an apartment "5 minutes away" which actually meant 10 more minutes of driving winding steep roads and finding parking in the street. They would not cancel our reservation from their end even though they had overbooked the B&B, which would have refunded our payment, and we could not cancel it from our end. The apartment is spacious with lovely views from the balcony but we had to park on the street, lug all of our luggage upstairs, doggie-proof the balcony because it had big gaps under the railing that our little dog could fall through, and stay in a very old apartment with worn out furniture that had not been cleaned in some time and needs repairs and updating. The wifi did not work in the apartment and, when I contacted the B&B for the apartment's wifi password, they just told me it was the same as for the B&B. We were too exhausted to go back down to the B&B for dinner but had luckily brought some snacks with us. The young lady who spoke English and gave us the apartment key at the B&B also told us we would have to pay for breakfast since it was not included with our booking. The coffee maker at the apartment did not work so we packed up and went to the B&B. The owner made us a couple of excellent cappuccini and gave us paper plates and a knife so we could cut slices of the dry pound cake. I went to the bathroom in the restaurant and the toilet seat was broken.

Everything was great. The room was cosy. They offer a typical sweet Italian breakfast. Also there were fresh fruits and Yougurt. I forgot to ask, but I think the jam was homemade. Really delicious. Hostel was ca 7 min from the sea. Thank You for the hospitality.

The property is better than it looks on the photos and we really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing dinner! Perfect for a short stay or on your way down to souther Italy!

everything, well built and well run place. Even off season everything was in perfect condition. Host thoughtful and helpful! Rooms spaceous, beds comfortable, snacks and coffee provided, parking space outside our door.

The apartment is extremely clean, comfortable and situated in a great location. Our son loved all the toys and books that were available for him, and there was plenty of outdoor space for him to play. Martina was a great host and very responsive.

Matteo was really helpful with recommendations for the area and then we spent lots of the days enjoying time at the great pool and outdoor grill area. A fantastic stay!
