We were given a warm and friendly reception and were happy to extend our stay The rooms were spacious and the accommodation with kitchen facilities ticked all the right boxes for us. Location was fine as we had a car but otherwise it was about 15 minute walk to centre of Merzouga. The family can arrange all trips and excursions locally.

What did I like? I liked Ali. He is the head of the the place. A master of sandbaths/ sunbed ( I did the sunbed 5 times or more ). He has taken great care of me, warning me of the dangers of the desert while reassuring me about unnecessary and common concerns. He constantly offered me coffee and water ( which he didn't charge me for ). As a solo traveler, he helped me feel safe and informed.
