Cottages in Flåm

The highlight of our stay was definitely our wonderful host, Jorunn. She was so sweet, welcoming, and always very quick to reply whenever we had any questions. The tiny house, although small, felt incredibly cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the beautiful garden and the peaceful surroundings. The breathtaking waterfall is only about a 10-minute walk away, which was one of the highlights of the location! It’s also very convenient for exploring Flåm — around a 15-minute walk to the main attractions, restaurants, and Coop supermarket. Overall, we had such an amazing experience and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much, Jorunn, for making our time in Flåm so special. This stay will definitely be one of our favourite memories from the trip!

One of the best places to stay in Flåm, especially if you are looking for a peaceful location, beautiful surroundings, and a premium cabin experience. The property has a charm of its own. It is located right near the water, surrounded by incredible scenery, and the entire setting feels calm, private, and very special. I would definitely recommend having your own car if you choose to stay here, as it makes exploring the surrounding areas much easier. They have three beautifully designed villa-style cabins, and before booking I noticed that almost every review mentioned the same two things: the amazing location and the quality of the cabins. After staying here, I completely understand why. The cabin itself feels modern, comfortable, and premium. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and the living room sofa can also be converted into an additional bed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and very well maintained. A huge advantage for anyone travelling with an electric car is that every unit has its own EV charging facility, and charging is completely free of cost. This made our stay even more convenient. What made the experience truly special, however, was the host. She was extremely helpful throughout our stay. My rental car did not have a charging cable, and she kindly lent me one so I could charge the car at the property. She also helped us discover some wonderful nearby places to explore and recommended locations that we probably would not have found on our own. That personal touch added so much value to our trip. One thing I noticed before booking was that there were not many photos of this property available online. So, I am attaching plenty of pictures with this review to give future guests a better idea of the property, the cabins, and the beautiful surroundings. And believe me, the property looks even more beautiful in person than it does in the pictures.

The house is beautifully decorated and laid out. It has spacious rooms and great facilities. We were there two nights. It is very close to Flam for days out and has beautiful views. Also very nice to have shower gel, coffee capsules, etc provided. Shame weather wasn't better for using the massive terrace

Beautiful view from window/ porch. Adorable cabin- comfy beds, nice furniture, well stocked kitchen- I could’ve stayed longer. Property is high on a hill so if you have luggage or mobility issues ask the owners for a way to get transport. We walked there from the train station. The closest town for groceries is Flåm- a taxi ride or a 30 min or so walk . Nice owners and helpful.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. It was very comfortable, cozy and well equipped.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Modern bathroom. Shower pressure is fantastic. Beautiful views. Nice welcome gift and note. Quiet, peaceful. Would stay here again!

The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything our family of six needed to feel completely at home. We were especially thankful to have both a washing machine and clothes dryer on the property! The beds were all very comfortable, and the layout was perfect for spending time together. We especially enjoyed the open kitchen and living area, which made it easy to cook and relax together, and the extra large dining table provided the perfect space for family meals and playing card games. The highlight of my stay was sitting on the back deck, which looks directly out onto a magnificent waterfall. Sitting there and listening to the peaceful sound of the water rushing below made this place truly special. The host was wonderful! Very responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. Their attention and communication made the experience even better.
