The door was unlocked with the keys inside. The owner communicated in advance of our arrival and allowed us to come earlier in the day if we arrived early, plus, there were fresh cookies on the counter to greet us! The kitchen was well stocked and quite nice.

Featuring complimentary private parking, Fairview Getaway is 1.2 miles from Bishops Beach. Outdoor seating is also available at the vacation home.

Stunning views of Cook inlet and the Kenai range from their beautiful large grassy front yard and the cabin! Viewpoint perch gave added view of Homer Spit. The cabin was dated in a very charming way. Wonderful sitting area and large table by sunny windows with the view. Kitchen was dated but great for everyday cooking, not a gourmet. Comfy beds. One enclosed bedroom and one open behind dining room/ living room with two twin beds and a desk. The owner, and her grandson who lived adjacent to the property, were wonderful to chat with and shared some lovely stories about the property and the area.
