Staying at the Seclusion at Mesa Verde NP was one of the best decisions we made for our Southwest Colorado trip. This unique dome stay on 200 acres felt like our own private paradise—total peace and quiet with no neighbors in sight, just stunning views and starry nights. The location is unbeatable: it's literally right next to Mesa Verde National Park, just a short drive to the entrance, so we maximized our time exploring the incredible cliff dwellings without long commutes. Parking was a breeze—plenty of space right at the property, no worries about crowded lots or permits. We loved the on-site options, including the sauna for relaxing after long days, and the horseback riding trail rides were a highlight! The hosts arranged everything, and riding through the beautiful surrounding landscapes felt magical—perfect for all levels, with gentle horses and epic scenery. If you're looking for seclusion, convenience to the park, and unique experiences like trail rides, this is it. We can't wait to return

Beautiful home. Great hosts! They thought of the best little touches. Shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, laundry pods and dishwasher pods, and plenty of toilet paper. They had every dish we needed, coffee, and spices! Perfect location and nice neighborhood. Just was so wonderful!

The house was fabulous and the kitchen was very well-stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. There are three bedrooms and three toilets, one shower and a bath/shower combination, and a very pleasant dining room. The porch is lovely, with a great view of the property, which is a Puebloan archeological site. There is a large living room, and also a library, where you can find information on the archeological site. The hosts are amazingly personable! They even gave us a tour of the ruins on the property - there is a kiva and a number of rooms have been excavated. Dave is a principal investigator on the archeological site, which his father purchased in order to preserve the ruins. He knows so much!!! And both he and Judy were so generous with their time. That tour was the highlight of our two-week trip to Utah. It helped us better understand all the other Puebloan sites that we visited.

We enjoyed the coziness of the house. The house was very comfortable and suitable for our needs. We also enjoyed the setting of the countryside with the view of the mountains. The host was very helpful and informative even though we did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person.

The property was well-appointed and very clean. We felt like we were in a warm home that someone really cares about, yet not too "personal". Full kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware and plenty of towels and TP. Beautiful landscape and spectacular sunrise and sunset views, along with the views of the surrounding peaks and mesas.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this lovely guesthouse near Cortez, CO, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Tucked away just off the highway, the property is peaceful and beautifully maintained, complete with a charming water feature that added a serene touch to our mornings and evenings. Every detail was so thoughtfully put together—from the fully stocked kitchen and comfy couches to the abundance of linens and inviting outdoor lounge areas. It truly felt like a home away from home. And I have to mention the beds—without a doubt, the most comfortable I’ve experienced while traveling. We all slept like babies! What really made the stay unforgettable, though, was Michelle. She is a genuine ray of sunshine—so warm, vibrant, and welcoming. She was always available for questions and went above and beyond to make sure our family felt comfortable and cared for. When we ran into some unexpected car trouble, Michelle didn’t hesitate to help us extend our stay, turning a stressful situation into something manageable and even relaxing. We initially booked for two nights but ended up staying three—and I’m already dreaming of our return. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped place to unwind with a host who truly cares, look no further. Thank you, Michelle—we’ll definitely be back!
