This room for rent was an old motor lodge that the new owners took the time to clean up and bring new life to. It is located a half me from downtown Grass Valley and has all the amenities that one needs in a stand-alone room. Everything was clean and well appointed. Even what would be a huge parking lot new has several little relaxing spots including a small unmanned bar with a little Koi pond next to it. As much as I love a 3rd floor Motel 3 1/2 that looks like every other...I'd much rather spend my time and money at a one-off establishment that has put the time to make an old place shine again.

Everything! The location was so convenient to downtown Grass Valley and yet private and quiet. The home was lovely and so comfortable and cozy. We LOVE cozy and yet plenty of space for our group. Beds comfy, kitchen fully stocked, hot tub, rocking chairs on a lovely front porch with a view of beautiful rose 🌹 bushes. Best of all, great immediate communication if we had any questions . Will be back for SURE!

I loved the newly remodeled cottage. It was nicely done and super cozy and comfortable. It's simple yet tastefully done style was perfect. The kitchenette was perfect too. Very clean and quiet.

A lovely little cottage with 2 comfortable bedrooms, a very well appointed kitchen on a quiet cut de sac in the downtown area. The cottage is in a residential area close to the historic downtown commercial district where there are lots of shops and restaurants. It's an older cottage that clearly has been renovated. The hosts responded to the messages we sent quickly and they reached out to us multiple times; we felt we could have contacted them while we were there if needed. The kitchen has everything and more that you could need to actually cook. Everything was very clean. It was perfect for our stay.

The home was cozy, comfortable, clean, and simply outstanding. I traveled out for my daughters wedding and we were able to host breakfasts and dinners with our kids and grandkids. You could not do that in a hotel.

A lot of people say “charming” and “cozy” when they mean outdated and small. We knew going in that the house was small and that it was an older place with updates. Let me tell you, we were beyond pleased! The house WAS CHARMING. I liked the decor and the overall setup. It WAS COZY. I felt perfectly at home in a house with comfortable furnishings and everything necessary to store and cook my own food.
