The view from our room was amazing. Our room was on the beach's edge (shore) and was beautiful. The pool was amazing too, and they have a hot tub (jacuzzi). It was so close to the shopping centers and supermarkets, by walk as well, and, only 15 minutes from the airport

The view became more exceptional as we noticed more things happening in the bay: outrigger canoe and regular canoe races, sailboat races, surfers, foil (motorized surfboard) surfers, beach volleyball games, and large cruise ships (two during the week we were there). This location is in the flight path of the helicopter excursions to Kauai’s highlights so expect noise in the morning. No worries about being awakened by them. The roosters which are everywhere on the island will awaken you much earlier than when the helicopters begin flying. The unit has been partially upgraded within the past few years so that the kitchen seemed more modern than the rest of the unit although there was NO dishwasher. There were lots of spices and condiments (including olive and sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey), rice, and oatmeal. The shower stall was nicely tiled and the “wood” floor relatively new. The windows/doors looking out onto the patio were relatively new (mini blinds inside double pane glass).

This is the best rental place I've stay in. There is ample space, amazingly comfy beds, and the view from the balcony is one of the best we saw on the entire island. If you want a vacation to remember on Kauai do yourself a favor and stay here.

Things we liked: Location, lower level, pool outside door. Beach Access. Property well maintained. Washer and dryer. Interior nicely done with well stocked kitchen with necessary dishes and pans and nice linens and comfortable furniture. Bottle of wine which we didn't drink but nice touch.

Kauaʻi is an amazing island with so much to experience. One of the highlights of our trip there was to stay at The Secret Garden Room. Hospitality like nowhere else and a fantastic garden that is exceptionally beautiful. Getting there by car is a necessity, it's however a short trip to restaurants as well as hiking and sights. We where lucky that the dates we were visiting Kauaʻi were available. Looking forward to coming back if we ever get the opportunity again.

The property was like an oasis! We loved relaxing here and using the bikes to explore the local area. The facilities were great and there were lots of ways you could explore the local surroundings (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels etc). The property was well equipped and there were bbqs to use and lots of outside space to relax in. We also really appreciated the laundry facilities! Couldn’t recommend more.
