The pool was cool, pristine and refreshing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The open living area below the rooms has a lovely, homely feel. Very Nubian. Eslam was very hospitable. He offered to organise anything without being pushy. We took advantage of his personal river tour and were put on his boat for 4 -hours. Aswan is beautiful. A complete juxtaposition of Cairo's chaos. The river here, near the dam is pristine and clean.. We swam at a golden sand beach reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach.

The property is soundproof and is set less than 1 km from Nubian Museum. I loved my stay at the Nubian Studio. Best location to enjoy the Nile view and sandy dunes, peaceful, colorful and spacious. Friendly neighbourhood. I would book it again without any doubt. I miss it already!!!

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.
