This is a very large property - bigger than we expected. It was very clean, well looked after, cool and comfortable. Yaya, the owner, greeted us. He was a lovely guy. We only stayed one night but we actually discussed that we should have stayed longer. The town is significantly less touristy than Luxor and Aswan and in the evening we went about our way almost ignored. This apartment and this town are a good place to rest up and take a break. We really liked this apartment and Yaya made us feel welcome. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

During off season the spot to be for relaxed holidays, nice and supportive neighbours. Comfy beds and enough vents to handle the heat (AC is working too). The host Fazwy tries everything to help you with your questions or requests at any time. Great nature around and a fantastic view from the terrace. The kitchen and the bathroom/toilet are well equipped, the living area offers a lot combinations of sitting, the bedroom is cozy. We would come back!

The space of the facility, the bed mattresses, the A/C, the roof and the exceptional hospitality by the staff. Fahd was very helpful, polite, available all the time for any issue or help in providing F&B, maintenance, limousine booking and any information about the city and its attractions. So I would like to thank him very much for his exceptional attitude 😁

Nefertari Guest House státar af fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 23 km fjarlægð frá Aga Khan-grafhýsinu. Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

Nubian Farm Aswan er staðsett í Aswan, í aðeins 23 km fjarlægð frá Aga Khan-grafhýsinu og býður upp á gistirými við ströndina með einkastrandsvæði, garði, bar og ókeypis WiFi. After a few hiccups the shuttle boat found me at the dock and ferried to the site, in the dark by moonlight. I was shown to my room which was quite acceptable but then told I'd been upgraded and found myself in a large appartment which could easily sleep 6. Outside was a table and chairs and plenty of space to relax. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The next morning I was asked where I would like breakfast, apparently you can have it in the room, outside at your own seating area or as I did at the outside tables at the front of the property looking out over the Nile. They say breakfast should be a main meal of the day and this certainly was filling me up until dinner and it was delicious, very pleasantly surprised. As the name says this is a farm and that includes dogs, cats, horse, donkey and crocodiles (yes you did read that right). It didn't take me long to totally relax in the beautiful setting and realise I wanted to extend my stay. That night we asked to have a Nubian dinner and weren't disappointed, they certainly know how to feed you. There is a sand hill that you can climb at the back of the property and watch the beautiful sunset. Trips: we went by motorboat to the Nubian village for a wander and shop, a very pretty decorated place. On return we realised it is possible to walk there and we did walk part way along the river to a beach area and swam in the very cold Nile. I expressed that I liked going along the river and it was suggested would I like to go sailing. The sail boat was laid out with comfortable cushions, bottles of water and a tray of tea/coffee and breadsticks was provided. Sailing for approx 2.5 hours viewing the river bank and relaxing so tranquil. The staff were so accommodating all you had to do was ask if you wanted anything or wanted to visit somewhere and they would arrange it to your schedule. All in all I was very surprised by this place and have come home totally relaxed by my stay. Highly recommend.
