Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. We returned there for the second winter in a row and found it to be the same lovely place as last year. The cottage is clean, comfy and its location so beautiful. We hope we can manage to come back next year too.

Matatagpuan ang Kolin Lotus Superior sa Kolinkylä at nag-aalok ng private beach area, shared lounge, at ski-to-door access. Great view, well cleaned and everything worked well. The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

The location of Paimentupa is excellent. It is located around Koli National Park. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery at any time. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Paimentupa to the trailhead. In less than an hour, you can hike to Paha-Koli, Akka-Koli and Ukko-Koli, and other hiking trails. The layout and color of the room are elegant and warm, and it is also very clean. It makes people feel like home and very comfortable. It is highly recommended to those who want to travel to Koli National Park. I stayed three nights and really enjoyed my stay there. Paimentupa also offers horseback riding experiences on forest trails, which is also highly recommended. The owner provided considerable assistance, making it smooth for me to get there even by public transportation.

The view, the wooden sauna, the grill area, and the surrounding area. Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.

The property is a luxury-with running water, a sauna, a kitchen with cooking and dining equipments, a TV, a radio, a microwave, fishing gears (which we borrowed from the host), fishing net, a boat, bbq facilities, a Finnish dart, a terrace and outdoor table for dining, and the most is the amazing view from the property. The location is not far from Koli National park and you can also book a horseback riding from them (if you wish, too- they have icelandic horses!). The property is ideal for anyone (solo traveler, couple, family, and friends) who would like to visit Koli. Also, the hosts are very friendly and very attentive.
