Gorgeous mountain views from the room. Well maintained gardens with horses grazing. John and Maeve were great, very friendly and helped with recommendations. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Washroom was a little tight but hey it’s Europe. Good selections of items for breakfast with homemade bread and cake.

Teresa's Cottage er staðsett í Kilcolgan, 23 km frá Eyre-torgi og 23 km frá Galway-lestarstöðinni. Boðið er upp á garð og garðútsýni. Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Fantastic house. We were greeted by the owner Mike. There was a fire lit in the fireplace. Mike told us the wonderful history of this place and his family. I will recommend it to everyone. A wonderful place where you can feel the breath of history.

Very lovely guest house. Comfortable, cozy and clean. The host Ronnie is wonderful. He was super helpful in recommending us amazing places to have day trips to and see all the magical places in this region of Ireland! Galway is conveniently close but for us exploring the incredible scenery and villages to the west and north west were awesome! Thanks Ronnie for your great suggestions!

Plumgrove Pod Easkey er staðsett í Sligo, 37 km frá Sligo Abbey, 38 km frá Sligo County Museum og 38 km frá Knocknarea. The hosts are very kind and helpful! They gave us some recommendations. The pod is great, very clean and cosy, and has a nice view. The location is also great, close to gas station, groceries, etc. We can’t recommend it enough!

Very homely feel, location is ideal as well. The vicinity is quiet and tranquil. Home is kept very neat and tidy and excellent. I travelled around Ireland and this was the most homely feel amongst all my stays. Owner is also responsive when communicating and very kind to accommodate a last minute guest with reasonable additional cost. Beautiful home.

Tiernan's Luxury Cottages er staðsett í Charlestown, í innan við 19 km fjarlægð frá Knock-helgiskríninu og 19 km frá Kiltimagh-safninu. Stayed with a group of 10 friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The cottages were gorgeous and there was so much space for a group. It was very warm and cosy and the heat was on when we arrived. Beautiful decorated and it was located in a lovely quiet area a short drive (6-7 mins) from Charlestown where we were able to pick up a takeaway. The owners had left tea waters milk etc and the bathrooms were full with shampoos soap etc. The check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to contact.

Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!
