I chose to stay here because it was exactly what I needed—and exactly what my service dogs needed as well. I loved the town and every person I met. Pedro made my stay effortless, and he has an amazing rescued dog named Luna, who spent a lot of time with me and my dogs. My dog rescue foundation thrives because of humans like Pedro—people with huge hearts who choose to take in a dog and, by doing so, inspire others to do the same. For anyone traveling to Oaxaca who wants a real, authentic connection to Mexico, Loma Rabo Ratón has everything you need. Every local I encountered offered nothing but smiles and friendship.

The location was next to where we needed to be to have our car serviced and had space for 4 persons. That's why we chose this location. When we had issues with no hot water, and then no water at all ... the contact person "Karen" responded quickly as possible.

New and very tasteful decorated cabin with a well equipped kitchen and a hot shower. The owner was very helpful with giving us suggestion for hikes and organizing a motor taxi for us.

The pool was crystal clean, great for cooling off as the midday temps were quite warm (13-Nov). Steps from the breach for morning walks and evening sunsets.
