Everything about our stay at Island Cottage Guesthouse was perfect. The location is incredible, with the most breathtaking ocean views — waking up and looking out over the water was honestly one of the best parts of the trip. The guesthouse has such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and you immediately feel at home. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully set up. You can really see the attention to detail in every little touch — from the comfort of the bed and quality linen to the small extras that make the space feel warm, welcoming, and well cared for. Everything was neat, well maintained and exactly as advertised (even better in real life). The service was also excellent — friendly, helpful, and professional without being over the top. Overall, everything from the views, the room, the comfort and the atmosphere was absolutely top class. Highly recommended if you want a special stay with the best ocean views. We would definitely return!

The Manager Massimo was very Professional. The house was a "WOW". Such a Stunning Accommodation. We felt so at home. This Accommodation lacks nothing.

Very private and secluded campsite. We were the only guests on the campsite which is ion the Auob riverbed, under ancient Camel Thorn trees. There’s water and the best working donkey boiler I’ve experienced so far for a hot shower. Hanli and Carla are wonderful and nice people and we enjoyed our stay there a lot. The place has a lot of animals, too. We saw giraffes, gemsbok, steenbok, white-backed vultures on the nest, bat-eared foxes and rosy-faced lovebirds.

Mararating ang Karasburg Railway Station sa 47 km, ang Vastrap Guest Farm ay naglalaan ng accommodation, restaurant, seasonal na outdoor swimming pool, hardin, at shared lounge. Great place close to the main road. Everybody was very nice and the dinner was excellent!

The hostess and her husband arranged a horse ride especially for my autistic daughter even though they dont do rides anymore. She is obsessed with horses and is a Dressage horse rider herself. They made it possible for her to have a wonderful time.

Perfect for a stopover on the way to Mata Mata on the C15. We received a warm welcome even though we were later than expected. The setting is great, in the valley looking across at the dunes and the working farm. The sheep were curious and came to help us unload the bakkie. Our room was spacious and well equipped with tea and coffee, soap, shower gel, towels, blankets, plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave and a high table for 4 in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and large and there was space to move around. The room has A/C which works well. Our room had 4 single beds, 2 armchairs and a side table, a picnic table and 4 camp chairs, large brick brai and stoop overlooking the communal pool. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. It didn't take long before we said " we will stay here again."
